"Very nice view onto the valley and the volcano. We were watching the stars and shooting stars from the very comfortable bed. Although it was cold outside, the blankets and heater keep you warm. The jacuzzi was nice as well."

The water in the jacuzzi is warm but not hot, but it wasn’t bad and totally acceptable for being in the middle of nowhere.

"Amazing remote location but still easily accessible! Like a barefoot oasis where everything felt very personal and intimate. The rooms are stunning, facing the river. At night it felt like being one with nature. Will highly recommend to all my friends and family!"

There was nothing that I didn’t like. I would offer a suggestion that a mosquito net is put over the bed.

"Very comfortable! Beautiful setting for sitting outside with a coffee to wind up or beer to wind down your day. Loved the extra blankets and warm clothes provided, nice touch!"

"This is an incredibly magical place. Anna, Paulo and their teams have done an amazing job of providing five-star service in the middle of a beautiful jungle. The accommodations are smart and clean and rustic elegant. The water is warm, clear and clean. Perfect for a swim after trekking the jungle. Perhaps even better this Lodge contributes to the sustainable development of the local communities and to reduced poaching and illegal logging. They work closely with the ministry of environment and local rangers. Highly recommend this stay."

"New, comfortable room with private bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Shared fully equipped kitchen. Good internet. Quiet in a safe district. 15 min in the bus number 10 or 12 to the city center. Alice, the owner who lives there, is very nice and helpful. She booked a taxi for us and woke up at 5.30a.m. to be sure that the taxi arrived. Excellent quality for a good price."

It is number 1 on the intercom when you arrive there. it is not written Conforto.

"The area is pretty remote, the facilities were really good provided. Greateful for hosting me especially so far in the season. Meal is modest as you would expect, essentially and locally made 👌. "The most relaxed, beautiful and natural place to experience jungle island living. Wonderful meals were cooked by staff. There is an honor bar with exotic flavored rums made onsite. Fresh fruit and vegetables growing everywhere. The sounds, smells and scenery make this exactly the adventure you are seeking. Julian and all of the staff couldn't be happier and more helpful."

Just plan to pack extra layers for December nights, as it gets quite cold with no heating provided. Highly recommend!
