"The place has lots of character, the staff are super friendly and very very helpful. The place is located near all kinds of places with good cheap food and charm."
"There is trade off between quiete and being. Centrally located. I’m picky though because I would prefer living in the woods if I had my way."
"My third visit there and never disappointed. Staff is very friendly and speaks enough English for me! Very helpful."
"Unfortunately, the hot water is an issue. I think they have a very old boiler and it takes some patience! Not a big deal, on vacation so I had all the time in the world. Just a little annoying when you’re in the middle of a shower And it turns cold. Lol."
"We loved our stay here. The room was comfortable, there’s a good kitchen and a nice roof. Juan, the manager, is very friendly"

"Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Artistic and eclectic decorations. On the main drag for music and people watching. Generous hostess always offered coffee. She spoke English pretty well. Bell chimed to let her know when someone present. Nice kitchen with plenty of appliances and nice lighter for stove. Soft pillow. Convenient outlets. Clean Pleasant, upbeat atmosphere."
"Street noise but, of course, couldn't be helped. Bathroom light went out too frequently. Cold shower 🥶"
"The location is in the Centro and within walking distance from the market and many restaurants. Cabs to various parts of the city is great. Don’t forget to visit the various lakes and casadas."
"Considering the location is in el centro, one should expect there to be noise from the street and in the evening. Overall, it is manageable."
"Cute, authentic place with very nice staff. We felt very welcomed and spent a nice night here. It's clean and a bit chaotic but in a cozy way. Would come back :)"

"The place is really cosy, it feels like home. The people working there are amazing. They have the best hot shower in the whole country."
"It's very much in the city center, so it's a bit noisy - that's what one gets when they stay downtown."
"Great and helpful staff Well equipped kitchen Fruits and coffee for breakfast"
"Mattress was extremely hard"

"The host and her granddaughter who helped with my stay were amazing. The host picked me up in the city and brought me to St Marys and again to the airport in the morning. The traffic was terrible leaving Quito, I felt sorry for the host dealing with it. I was a little concerned that the dogs and other guests might continue making noise throughout the night but that wasn't the case. You are certainly aware of your proximity to the airport as you can hear planes over head. The 'village' is spotlessly clean and well maintained."

"My first stay in a tent, and boy, what a place I chose for it! Slept in a real bed, and very comforting at that. Everything was clean and neat but I am by far impressed by the staff - so friendly and helpful!"
Avis de Irina Cabalonga EcoAdventure
"The woman who checked me in was very warm and friendly. She gave me information about the room and where breakfast would be served. The hotel is in a perfect location in the center of town. The room was big. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had everything I needed. Breakfast was quite sumptuous with a bowl of fruit with cereal and yogurt, and then a plate of eggs, an empanada and a piece of toast was served. I'd come here again on my next visit to Loja."
Avis de John Hotel Libertador
"Very close to the airport! Walked to it in the date time but suggested to take a taxi during the night!"
Avis de Anastassia Hotel Garzota Inn
"The hosts were friendly and flexible - I asked for a late check-out and they were willing to accommodate that without issue. The room was comfortable, with good bedding and pillows. The bathroom was clean, and the hot water worked well. I did not eat any meals there, though they offered dinner and breakfast."
