"A beautifully renovated village house decorated with impeccable taste throughout. Lots of little touches to make guests feel at home, books, homemade biscuits, etc. Our beds were extremely comfortable with high quality linen and pillows. The pool area and garden at the back of the house is superb, a real bonus during the hot weather we experienced during our stay. The hosts are charming and made us feel at home immediately. They gave us a tour of the house and offered a lot of useful information about the area. Meeting the beautiful and very sociable spaniel Igor was very special too!"

"Les hôtes ont été adorables, accueillants, réactifs et de très bons conseils. Leurs recommandations sont très personnelles et pertinentes, nous avons adoré la région et reviendront avec grand plaisir. Le logement est vraiment magnifique en plein coeur d'un village classé. Toute la maison est très bien rénovée et décorée, mettant en valeur des artistes locaux. Les chambres sont superbes et cosy dans les moindres détails et le lit est super confortable (on a adoré !). Enfin, ne passez pas à côté du petit déjeuner où tout est maison (même le pain et les brioches !) et préparé avec soin."

"L'atmosphère de la maison d'hôte Maxana est apaisante ; on s'y sent tout de suite bien, comme chez soit ; la déco est très soignée. Dominique et Jean-Michel sont adorables et toujours disposés à vous conseiller pour que votre séjour se passe au mieux. Le petit déjeuner est une merveille avec des viennoiseries faites maison par Dominique ou encore la salade fruits préparée par J-Michel, tout cela complété par des produits locaux comme les yaourts basques. Nous recommandons particulièrement la chambre Colette avec la vue s/ la piscine et son balcon très agréable. Edmond, le jeune cocker, rajoute une touche fort sympathique à ce havre de paix."

"L'accueil Le côté sympa et propre La proximité de la famille, de la mer, de l'estacade, des dunes, de la base de mer (spectacle des chars à voile), des couchers et levers du soleil Soleil rouge dans la chambre et surtout dans la salle d'eau, géniale la vraie fenêtre directement dans la douche!!!)... La machine à laver le linge ultra silencieuse..."

"The location was a true gem! Cabin in the woods, walking distance to the lake, peaceful and quiet, and only a mile from so many things to do and places to eat. The cabin was quaint, and cozy and had great kitchen amenities. There was a pod system coffee pot, but no pods however. There was a breakfast option of bread, cheese and jam with hot drink for 10€/pp to be delivered to the cabin, but we didn’t use this option. Already planning to return."

"We liked everything about this place. The hosts are so friendly and interesting, making all the can so we feel well. The place is wonderful, almost magic. Very traditional cottage by a small river. The village is small but lovely and people are very friendly. Breakfast was very rich and fresh with local products and some even home made. Joel and Martine let us anticipate our check-in by a few hours, something that really helped us. Very recommended place and hosts and we are planning to get back in the future."
