"This is an absolutely lovely hotel in a perfect location for exploring the northern part of Basse-Terre. The grounds are lovely, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the pool area is great, the breakfasts generous and varied - but most of all, the staff (from management to reception to housekeeping) is absolutely wonderful. During our stay we slept long and well, lounged at the pool, drank at the bar, walked to the spectacular beach down the hill, and dined at great restaurants in Deshaies. We also enjoyed to company of other travelers from all parts of the world. Our two-week trip to Guadeloupe was complicated by some medical issues, and the staff here went above and beyond to help make our trip less stressful and more enjoyable. A truly delightful experience in every respect."
