"This is a small hotel at excellent location and very friendly staff. It's a short walk from the water boat station and in short walk to San Marco and all Venice attractions. The only issue we want to admit is an very small shower. The people with the high weight should take it into consideration."

"The room was very clean and cozy, bed was comfortable. The hotel was five feet from a small plaza. The plaza has a few restaurants. We ate at two of them and the service as well as the food was great. This hotel is off the main street, I would say about 200 feet, far enough to be in a quiet area and close enough to be right by the main street. The hotel manager Elena was very friendly and helpful. BTW this hotel does not have an elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up and down the stairs."

"We went on a gondola ride and I found the gondola operator pretty rude. He was rushing a woman off the boat because he wanted to leave. My wife mentioned that she has problems walking and he responded "everyone has problems walking". Not a good experience with this guy."

"We had to leave very early in the morning and found it difficult to find our water taxi location. This was because it was so early and we did not at first recognize the stop (although we made it ok because we left so early and could retrace our steps)."

"The location is great - close to the vaporetto stop and right in the middle of everything. AC works well. Towels and linens were clean and in good condition. Water pressure in shower was good."

"The mattress had a sagging part in the middle due to overuse. It should be replaced or at least rotated. Shower (telephone booth style) was old and the doors were hard to open. Other than that, everything was "good enough." I knew what I was getting into - it's a room for rent with basic amenities and nothing more. Given that Venice is so expensive, this was a good value for the location. If you can "rough" it a little and you're not looking for something charming, this works as a sleeping and showering pit-stop. No lobby, no breakfast, no elevator, old and rickety vibe...literally, a place to sleep and shower. It met my needs for this particular trip (major sightseeing with my 13 year-old niece), but not a romantic weekend in Venice."
