Bait Ali Camp was built and designed in 1999 by its owner, Mr. Tahseen, who personally constructed the camp himself. With an architectural background influenced by Circassian heritage and a strong connection to the desert of Wadi Rum, he created a property that combines traditional character with thoughtful design. The camp was built using natural desert stones and locally sourced materials, blending authentic Bedouin style with subtle Circassian architectural elements. Over the years, the property has developed from traditional Bedouin tents into well-constructed guestrooms built with natural stone and brick, offering full resort-style amenities and private bathrooms. In addition to Bedouin sleeping areas and chalets, the camp as well features panoramic glass domes designed to provide views of the surrounding desert landscape. Facilities include a seasonal outdoor swimming water feature, evening campfires, and barbecue areas. The large kitchen serves local Arabic dishes, and the camp offers terraced seating areas with a traditional Zerb oven. Guests can explore Wadi Rum’s desert scenery and rock formations through activities such as jeep tours, ATV and buggy safaris, camel riding, land sailing, and hot air balloon experiences. Bait Ali Camp is found near Wadi Rum’s main road. Aqaba is approximately 34 mi away, and the Ragdia desert highway turnoff is about 9.3 mi from the camp.

"Beit Ali in Wadi Rum is truly one of a kind. The camp is luxurious, the views are breathtaking, everything is spotless, and the rooms are set up to the highest standard. The service is exceptional and the team makes you feel proud of the place. The food was outstanding—delicious and very clean. I’m usually very picky about eating outside, but here I didn’t hesitate at all. Whether you want to enjoy the desert, swim, or take part in a variety of activities, Beit Ali has it all in one place. I even forgot to bring water with me into the desert, and brother Khader went out of his way to bring us cold water. Truly amazing hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back again. Special thanks to Wissam, Rayan, Khader, and the whole team. Beit Ali is the true home of generosity and pride."

"Amazing stay at Petra Voyager Hostel. The location is excellent and very close to the Petra entrance, making it easy and convenient to visit the site. The hostel is very clean, well organized, and the rooms are comfortable with great attention to detail. The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with useful tips and tour arrangements. They truly make you feel at home. A big plus is the daily, well-organized shuttle to Wadi Rum, which makes traveling easy and stress-free. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing, the common areas are nice, and the value for money is excellent. I highly recommend staying at Petra Voyager Hostel and would definitely choose it again on my next visit"

"Good accommodation for low-mid budget trips. AC heated the cold room pretty quickly on a cold February night. Nice breakfast. We got offered lunchboxes for our trip to Petra. Really recommend buying them, they are tasty and sufficient for the whole day...and you can avoid overpriced food in the Petra site. Greetings from Czek rek publik :)"

"The hostel is awesome !! It is very convenient because it is very close to the bus station and to the visitor center. 10 min walking. The place is so cozy, the cabins clean and comfortable a lot of privacy in the cabins. The best thing is to ask for breakfast, lunch box and dinner, it is a reasonable prize and delicious. The wifi is really good. I love staying there."
