"We liked very cosy atmosphere, lovely owners, sea view and possibility to meat sunrise almost straight from your bed - 1 minute walk to the beach. You can just sit and see birds, sun, clouds. White sandy beach with a few bigger rocks that makes it even more interesting"

"The building is super clean and the decor is both pretty and welcoming. The couple who runs Pilava is really friendly and responds quickly to messages. The breakfast was delicious and generous. The building is a short walk (2 minutes) to the Baltic down a pretty path in the woods. Also, this is the only place we've stayed at that put a fan in the room! In July, this was a big asset."

"Beautiful place with a personal touch. The environment was very cosy - a beautiful garden with flowers and trees, modern traditional architecture. A lot of art pieces around. It was a unique, calm, seaside experience. Will come back with my beloved ones."

"Guesthouse, yard and nearby beach were just beautiful. Accomodation was very functional with art and and a hint of luxury. The hosts were hospitable and surrounded by positive energy. Breakfast was very good. Possibility to do laundry was good for us bicyckle travellers."

"Nice private place with a designated parking place right at the entrance gate. Great location for families with kids due to a public playground next to the property. We found the bathrobes and slippers very thoughtful for going to the outdoor toilet facilities. Hosts were very responsive regarding our request for the heater as the end of September is quite chilly. Though having it already on would make arrival more cosy. However, the place heated up quickly."

"Excellent location. Very well equipped. Nice, large bathroom. And we were greeted with champagne! In addition, the host is very responsive and quick to get in touch. Great place for up to 3 people! There were four of us and we stayed there for over a week, most nights just two or three of us slept there. The couple nights though, when all four of us slept in the accommodation, became very cramped, but the host warned us about it, although a few nights are not a big problem. In any case, I would not recommend to take this apartment longer for a night or two, if you are 4 people, and all of you plan to actually sleep there, and good night sleep is what you are seeking for - otherwise - one of the finest choices to explore Valmiera to the fullest! :)"

"I loved everything about this place, location is perfect, if you're traveling by train or autobus 10-15 mins walk maximum. You don't have to worry about groceries, small mini-mart is 3 mins walk away with everything you may need, If you arrive late and the mini mart is closed,you can always grab something to eat at Circle-K gas station open 24hrs. If your stay is short and you want to explore Valmiera, you may have to come again, because once you enter the apartment, you won't want to go outside. It's so nice and cozy and equipped with everything. On my stay I didn't go outside once. I highly recommend this place."
