"My room with a king bed was spacious. The air conditioner was a must because it reached 107 degrees Fahrenheit (42 Celsius) in April. The TV in room could be used for some limited streaming services. Bottled water, kettle, instant coffee, tea, and bathroom essentials provided. The hotel restaurant had a varied menu and was good, as was the breakfast buffet that could be added on for $5 per day. The staff was kind and helpful. Given the other choices around Lumbini, I think this is the best hotel for the money."
"The hotel, although nice, was noisy from other guests. The location of the hotel was good but no grounds around it, not a very appealing setting, dusty and barren. There were frequent very short power outages. The jetted bathtub in my room was a waste as it took a very long time to fill up, and there was not adequate hot, or warm, water to fill it. I found Lumbini to be interesting but a big disappointment as the park was not well maintained, visitor centers were not open or staffed, there were what looked like abandoned areas, lots of construction, stray dogs and begging kids and adults harassed me, overgrown vegetation and weeds everywhere, and many temples not open at all, others not open during the hours posted on information boards. There were places in this park that would make for a great movie set for a horror or zombie film as it often felt like a post-apocalyptic dystopia walking around it."
"A very serviceable hotel with large rooms twenty minutes walk from the Maya Devi. Nice views over the rice paddies and very quiet. Serves lots of tour groups. Rooms are very large and have a refrigerator. Strangely, our room had a jacuzzi tub yet still had an open floor shower. Lots of hot water and good food."
"Our jacuzzi tub leaked water everywhere and apparently did not work. But the shower was good even though it soaked the whole bathroom floor."
"The room and service is great. I was very comfortable here both with the suite itself and the staff."

"the hotel is good, room is clean and quite big, good breakfast, helpful stuff"
"the most disappointing thing was to wait for the lunch- for the first day we were for about 2hours for our lunch, on the second day we waited around 1 hour"
"Room was spacious with great a/c and WiFi. Breakfast was cooked a la carte the day we were there and plentiful. Despite being down a gravel road, it was very well located to access Gate 5 & Maya Devi temple and nearby restaurants."
"Front desk staff wasn’t overly welcoming or friendly. Credit card machine wouldn’t work upon checkout, despite trying 4 cards. We were rushed to get to the airport and staff wanted us to go to the ATM. At the end, they let us leave and we got cash to send back with the taxi driver. Very unexpected cash expense, but it worked out."
"Nice hotel, very clean and neat. Staff was friendly and the view from higher floors was great"
"They served breakfast without asking for preferences, I am a vegetarian and got served meat. I think especially in a place like lumbini they should make sure about that. Food was okay."
"The hotel is a walkable distance from the main gate for the Mahadeva Temple. The staff was very friendly and the rooms clean and confortable. I had a great stay with them and I believe it´s the best hotel in the area."

"Hot water is comfortable. Bathroom is clean. AC is working."
"Staff didn’t really know about the hotel service. Since the hotel credit card system didn’t work, I had to pay in cash."

"This is a perfect Homestay. It has the warm feeling you get from living local yet the privacy and comfort of a boutique hotel. The room and building are super clean, showers with hot water delicious breakfast and the bed was the most comfortable I have slept during my month in Nepal! The owners are very friendly, accommodating, and always around if help is needed. The area is close to many temples, feels very safe, great nature hikes nearby, and really good local places to eat. I liked this place so much that I will return for the remainder of my time in Nepal. I am so glad I stayed here and highly recommend this place."

"My Girlfriend and I stayed in this homestay for two weeks during an internship we did in Kirtipur. If you plan to stay in the region of Kathmandu, I can recommend Kirtipur because compared to the center of Kathmandu it isn't too noisy and still you can go to Kathmandu by a cab very easy and cheap. The hostfamily around Aashish is unbelievable friendly. They help you with everything you could think of. On first sight there may be cheaper options to sleep over in Nepal. If you consider that the prize includes not only breakfast but also lunch and dinner you won't find anything comparable here. Also the food is sooo good and always freshly cooked. In addition the homestay got a waterfilter, so you can fill up your waterbottles during the stay whenever you want. This homestay made our two weeks stay in Kirtipur very comfortable. We felt like we would be part of the family for years during our stay. I can highly recommend this place!"

"The thing I liked most about the hotel was how the staff made us feel at home. They even surprised my girlfriend with a cake on her birthday! We had originally planned to stay at a different hotel for the second part of our trip, but we canceled it because the care we received here was simply outstanding."

"Good place to be, 5 mins walking from the Pashupati nath temple! Chose this because of review and location as was travelling with family. Parking made it easier for me. The vehicle was cleaned the day after our arrival. Food was good, we had breakfast on both days, and everyone was super happy!"

"This guesthouse is a gem in Kathmandu! It is only 10m walk to the Stupa (google maps does not show u the fastest way) …it is very quiet at night! Rooms are spacious and very clean with new blankets and bedsheets and new comfortable mattress! The bathroom is modern and functional. This beautiful family lives upstairs and is always available to accommodate your needs. I strongly recommend it 🙏"

"I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Mr. Bisho, the owner of Krishna Inn, and his wonderful wife. They are truly kind, responsible, and genuinely caring people. From the moment we arrived, they made sure that everything we needed for a comfortable stay was perfectly arranged. Their hospitality went far beyond what is normally expected from hotel owners. At one point, one of our travel companions needed to visit a hospital, and Mr. Bisho personally took care of all the arrangements without hesitation or expectation of anything in return. He generously gave his time and support, purely out of kindness. I have traveled to many destinations around the world, but experiencing this level of care and humanity is truly rare. If it were possible, I would gladly give them a score higher than 10. I highly recommend staying at Krishna Inn to anyone visiting Pokhara."
