The rooms were a little tired and they did not have any plates or cutlery in the villas.

"The cabin has beautiful lake view and it’s very clean inside. My two children loved the heated swimming pool where you can buy wrist bands from reception to access. Boat rental to see the islands and to get to Risør. We have enjoyed our two nights stay."

"The location was amazing. The pool was perfect. The warm indoor pool was very cozy. The staff were so kind. All the restaurants were fantastic. Diversity and quality of food and beverage were on top of niveau. Very good guest parking. A very family and kid friendly resort."

I can not remember any "bad" thing about the hotel.

"The breakfast was really good and great variety of choices. The sea was really close and clean. The pool area was great and clean too. In the evening there was life music at the pool which gave a nice vibe. Staff was nice and helpful."

The Stowe was not working properly. No Wi-Fi in the rooms. Everything is frozen at the restaurants or almost everything: pizza, fish.

Food was not bad at all, it was good, but not on the level of a 5 stars hotel. Staff followup was a bit too much, I know they’re trying to do their job perfectly, but it was a little much knocking on the door and phone calls.

"The location was wonderful! I loved the hot pot on site and the sauna! The proximity to so many water falls and Laugarfell was great! We enjoyed the cute museum on site and appreciated the 50% discount! The staff was incredibly helpful. We forgot a suitcase and they quickly realized our mistake and called us before we had been gone more than a few minutes. It was a quick turnaround to be reunited with our belongings! So kind and thoughtful!"

"Great hotel absolutely met our expectations. We were a big family from Cyprus (12 people), the rooms were great as described, the staff very helpful and kind always ready to help you with a smile! Great breakfast and facilities for everyone kids and adults. The pool was very big with sunbeds and supervision. Location excellent just 3-4 mins from the sea and near many shops and restaurants! Special thanks to Mrs. Eleni and all the staff there. Very kind and helpful with all our requests! Of course would like to visit again sometime in the future!"

There are a lot of steps if you are staying in a lower level unit.

Pool and Spa closed a little too early for my liking but great pool to be at with outdoor sunshine and all.

The breakfest is great, they have also a private beach the pool was clean and all the area was clean the room was good too

"A beautiful, well-maintained resort. The room was large and very clean."

Breakfast was meager. Swimming in the pool is prohibited from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The restaurant closes at 3 p.m. and is not open continuously. The selection was limited and expensive. Drinks in the refrigerator were grossly overpriced. On the public beach, there were only a few sun loungers and a single parasol. We left early. Not for people who enjoy a good breakfast buffet and swimming in the open sea.

You will likely want to rent a car since the attractions you can walk to are nice but limited; with a car we really enjoyed Anguilla from this location. It was a bit on the pricey side for just my wife and I, but would be a great option for a larger group or for families.

"Wij hadden de benedenverdieping van de Villa. In één woord: heerlijk! De accommodatie is ruim, schoon en voorzien van alle gemakken. Het zwembad is heerlijk waar de kids zich ook goed in vermaakt hebben. De omgeving is niet erg toeristisch, maar met een beetje goed zoeken zijn er diverse mooie wandelroutes in de omgeving. De host is erg vriendelijk en staat voor je klaar."

"Very helpful and accomodating team in reception and the main restaurant. We loved our room: generously sized, nicely decorated, convenient kitchenette corner. The nature pool was fantastic, and it was great to be able to use resort equipment (snorkeling, bikes, etc). The food was very good, we ate well. 🙂"

We loved the location and food in the beach bar, unfortunately the server there was not very good: not especially friendly or quick.

"It's perfect for families with kids! They have activities and rules that made a great family experience place."

Thr bed is to soft... but one of two nights for my back it's not so bad.
