"Everything. Warm and friendly staff. Helped us even though we reserved very late for the same night after we run on some problems with another place. The room was perfectly clean and warm, with a wonderful bathroom. Breakfast was superb."

"This place is simple, but very nice. We loved the bathroom, very luxurious with a super comfortable shower, which is amazing after a long hike. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was super tasty. Parking here (and everywhere in Theth) was very easy. We were here at the end of October, so we couldn't sit outside, but the outside area looked very fun. The location is close to the Theth-Valbona peak hike, so a good starting point, but also close to nice restaurants and bars in the centre."

"Theth Alpine House was a great little spot for us to stay during our time in Theth. The location was central, so everything in town was walkable once we got there. The rooms were nice, and had clearly recently been renovated. The included breakfast was quite good, with fresh orange juice, mountain tea, a selection of cheeses, vegetables, breads, and Albanian pancakes."

"Check in was a bit weird. There's no front desk, you just go to the bar on the first floor and check in from there. When we arrived, nobody was around so we had to walk through the kitchen to the back of the house to find someone to help us get checked in. They only accepted cash - I think because she said she couldn't find the card reader, but there was a language barrier so I'm not sure if they just don't have one at all or she couldn't find it - regardless, we had to take money out of an ATM which they were kind to let us do the following day. They also gave us zero information on the included breakfast at check in. We had planned a long day hike while we were in town and needed to get moving relatively early. We finally left just before 9am having decided to pick something up at the local market instead. They're clearly on mountain time - which is fine, but communication of that would have been helpful. To their credit - we don't speak the local language and I got the sense they were shy to try English. For the price, there are a few amenities I would have expected - specifically a refrigerator in the room would have been nice, or a way to make coffee, or AC. The bed/bedding was definitely on the economical side, and the windows did little to block out sound. I was kept up by a neighborhood baby crying throughout the night. Beyond a nice/clean place to stay and a good breakfast, the accommodation didn't add much to the experience. If I were going back, I would probably explore options for another spot."
