"The location was lovely - nestled in between trees and little creeks. We were the only ones on site so it was very quiet which we loved. The room was beautiful, very clean and minimalist cabin, the shower room modern and comfortable, though the water did not drain well in the shower. We expected a kitchenette area, where we could at least make a coffee and tea and maybe plates and cutlery for food we could buy out, but there weren't any unfortunately. All in all, good experience, however."

Kitchenette not really equipped with anything. Shower didn't drain well. Check in was confusing.

"Allejandro is amazing, as is the location. He upgraded us to the romantic and secluded treehouse where we could hear the river, it was lovely. Very private but still easy to get places with a rental car."

There was no wifi at all (which for some might be a bonus, but we needed it and had to pay for lots of extra data as a result). In addition, and this again does not apply to all travelers, there were no converters or outlets for 120V so we were unable to charge our phones). This seems like an easy fix.

"Unique stay at a unique location - with all-around friendly and welcoming staff. Would do it again :-) Such a cute little house we had - and amazing delivered to door breakfast in the morning. We also ordered some meat to prepare ourselves a barbecue one night and absolutely loved it :-)"

Mosquitos everywhere - but nothing the location can do about that :) and the pool was quite far away from our little house, but absolutely manageable.

The wifi service wasn't not getting it in the apartment have to go out side.

"The location is fantastic - right on the beach. The accommodation had all the basic amenities. Felt safe with good security. We were able to meet our basic daily food needs such as bread (pao), fish and prawns through local traders visiting the lodge. Staff were always polite and friendly."

No internet connection because of a cyclone a few weeks earlier. Had to buy our own airtime. A portable fan in the living room would be great.

"If you want a peaceful, calm and stunning environment, this is the place. It is simple, but has everything you need in a beautiful setting. Perfect for nature lovers who don't want to be on top of other guests."

Was a bit musty smelling, but after being opened up and aired out and a candle or two it was perfect.

"We were met by Valda who presented us with a beautiful tray of lovely tomatoes from her garden and a fresh bouquet. She explained all the facilities to us and made certain we had no questions. The rooms were clean and well outfitted. Easy walk to the dunes. Lovely very private setting."

Bathroom needs some fixing.

"The room was comfortable, and discreet. Felt like a little retreat once you got inside and closed the door. Plenty of food and restaurant options very close by with busy stops about 5 mins away. All in all a great room for seeing the city on your own time. The host also is very prompt with communication and even helped me with some trouble of a left behind item!!"

"The room was more better than we expected. It was clean and very back to basic as we wanted. When you walk out you are straight in the outdoors where you can go on a walking safari or hike to the execution rock as we did, what was stunning!"

The restaurant only offered buffet dinners and breakfast during our stay. We weren't that hungry and felt forced to eat there which was a bit disappointing.

"ВСЕ!!! 10 дней, которые мы были в отеле, были окружены заботой, теплом, вниманием и помощью персонала по всем вопросам (включая практически невозможный обмен авиабилетов из Янгона в Бангкок не выходя из отеля) Пляж - просто прекрасен. Да, на нем нет удобств (кроме лежаков около отеля), но и отдыхающих, в общем-то, тоже нет. И 1,5 км пустынного пляжа в твоем полном распоряжении каждый день - что может быть лучше... Еда в ресторане не блещет разнообразием, но ОЧЕНЬ достойная. Морепродукты, естественно, свежайшие, каждый день! Отдельные слова благодарности хозяйке! За почти 30 лет путешествий по миру было очень немного мест, где хозяин лично встречает и провожает гостей, и каждый день интересуется настроением и возможными вопросами к проживанию. Если будет возможность - непременно стоит сюда приехать!!!"

It is 30 minutes on a very bumpy road from the gate to the national park and we were the only people to pass through each day. This end of the park is forest and scrub so very difficult to see game. There are not many roads in the park and almost no signage.

"This is a really unique space that is surrounded by hills and lush green scape, not to mention the birds. The pool is great on a really hot day or after going on a short hike around the property. The rooms are spacious and unique in themselves. The daily Dinners here are exceptionally delicious that I highly recommend."

the property is a bit off the beaten path. you’ll need to have your own transportation to get here. However, that is part of the charm.

You really need a car to get around. Not the property's fault as there is no public transportation and taxis are extortionately expensive (return trip to Cayenne and back €75)

Google maps took us on a bit of an adventure but we eventually found it.)

"The staff is so friendly! Was really a lovely experience. We only stayed one night to extend on the island , but It was one of our favourite experiences with the owners. Their kindness is so refreshing. The bungalows are basic, the bed is so comfy. It really gives you jungle beach vibes. Also try their coffee, best cappuccino ever. Double shot and the froth is on point. We even ran into the owners in Ranong coming off the slow ferry and they offered us a ride to our hostel. It really just made us so happy! I wish them all the luck with this new project of theirs. They have only really been actively open a total of 5 months!"

A little further from the beach but if you ride a scooter you are fine. 16 minute walk to one beach and the rest are about 40-45 minutes in each direction walking! Food not too far!

There are really smart things inside the house, my personal favorite is the build in drying rack above the heater and also the ceiling warmer in the toilet haha Forest, birds, fresh air, skiing what else do you need? But I also loved the playgrounds and benches on the property, felt like I’m at summer camp with family and friends ☺️"

One tiny confusion of mine was that on booking it said ski in and ski out but it wasn’t like that. But it’s spring so probably that’s why. If you come around this time be prepared to walk. Which is a really nice walk tho.

"The staff were so nice! They all knew our names, asked us if we needed anything every time we saw them, and were always willing to go above and beyond. -Hiking trails: such great views and fun exploration (they have complimentary bug oil everywhere, definitely use it before hitting the trails!). -Food: Everything we had was excellent, especially Slate on Saturdays/Wednesdays. -Room: This was the first stay in Belize we had with really hot water and water pressure, the water was drinkable, and the fireplace with complimentary wood was so nice."

The road in and out can be a little rough after raining since it's all red clay. We got stuck while leaving after check out but they had a tractor there and pulled us out within minutes of calling, then followed us out with the tractor just in case.

"We ate evening meals at Salz. I appreciated looking forward to a delicious local meals served to us. There were other rooms and we met other travellers. There was the opportunity for privacy by our room and the opportunity to interact with others. The hosts are lovely, kind and considerate people with whom I enjoyed talking."

The log cabin accommodation was warm, comfortable and beautifully unique in the attention to detail, artistically designed carved wood, stretched leather, fur chair and stone framed mirror. Husky ride was fun learning about their training from friendly staff. Highly recommended for a comfortable and unique experience."

Couldn’t improve this stay it was excellent. Just wish I could have stayed longer.
