Nestled amid a riverine forest on the private Kalagala Island, Lemala Wildwaters Lodge guarantees vistas of the River Nile. The unique lodge features a beautiful swimming pool overlooking the Nile and activities such as whitewater rafting and bungee jumping are delivered. The thatched cottages feature a private deck with free-standing bath. The units too feature hand-crafted furniture and the beds are draped with a mosquito net. Each unit has a safety deposit box and complimentary toiletries. The brasserie and bar area can be reached via elevated, wooden walkways. Guests can indulge in a full English continental buffet with a selection of cereals, fruits and juices. For lunch and dinner, the brasserie is an a-la carte menu. The lodge is accessed via a boat transfers and airport transfers to the island from Entebbe, Kampala or Jinja can be arranged. The town of Kangulumira is 1.9 mi away.

"Though it’s all inclusive, it’s a la cart. Three course meal but you choose from a menu. The staff is attentive."
"Geckos in the room. I know it’s a jungle. I didn’t feel comfortable having geckos in the room. However, the mosquito net covered the bed and I felt a little bit safe in my sleep. The area is a little bit humid and it gets warm at night."
"Individual chalets overlooking the whitewater rapids of the River Nile. Excellent variety of food both international and local. Very good choice of wines and spirits available on the full board option. The whitewater rafting experience was wonderful, 3.5 hours 20 kms and rapids crossed between grades 1 and 5. The massage experience was excellent. The staff were brilliant."

"Here’s a refined version of your review that maintains your voice while polishing the flow: --- A Refreshing Escape Overlooking the Nile Breakfast was delightful — served in small portions, but more than adequate. The room came with two bottles of wine and complementary drinks, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch. I thoroughly enjoyed walking the well-kept grounds and relaxing by the swimming pool, which offers a stunning view touching the Nile. All rooms are front-facing and open up to the falls, are truly a sight to behold. A beautiful and refreshing experience overall."
"The menu options were complicated and had to seek explanation from the service team. The menu could be simplified for us locals. There was an african menu thank God and these were well prepped meals."
"It has been one of the greatest stays I ever had. the location was exceptional. The cleanliness is top notch. The entire team made it memorable . The staff were very professional and incredibly kind. Special shout to Armstrong and Harrington, who welcomed me and kept tabs until my leave. The food is amazing, best tasted in Uganda so far.
