We were only informed after booking that we needed to pay extra for the towels, bedlinen and that we needed to pay a deposit. We didn't mind, but I don't like we were only told after booking.

"What an amazing place to stay. the house is beautiful and well decorated. The pool is amazing and made our holiday. The beds were very comfortable. The showers and bath were also very good. Plenty of cooking utensils and glasses and plates etc."

The meter for the air conditioning was a bit annoying but once I'd got enough coins ok.

"Super clean, super friendly, super comfortable. Actually is much better, as in the pics. Feels like home! The host is a very open minded and approachable person, starting from the moment of booking (communication via messages) until we checked out. Highly recommended if you are on a bicycle tour or just want to run away from a big city for a couple of days! The nice bar at the place is about to open, so will be a perfect place for combining a nature touch with some fun in a circle of friends. Thanks, Ingo, hopefully, we will come back one more time to see how your place grows:)"

Finding the place was a tad complicated, but we helpful information via WhatsApp.

"Joyce is SO nice and the grounds are immaculate. We booked Sangota Falls Lodge for a rest night before leaving the next day after being on Safari. The lodge's grounds are quiet and peaceful. The plants are so pretty and well taken care of. We booked meals with Joyce and they were very good. She used fresh strawberries from the gardens for parts of it! I would definitely stay at Sangota again and can confidently say it was a peaceful oasis from the noise and business of the city."

There was a problem with the hot water at one point (it is primarily wood fired and for some reason wasn't flowing to our cabin). The staff was very quick to help us and ultimately switched to the backup electrical heating, which worked fine.

"A little oasis in its rural setting, the swimming pool is the feature that makes this hidden gem exceptional. The little room was clean and hot water was plentiful. The hosts are friendly and helpful, and it was good to see them again."

The fridge in the room leaked overnight.

The room was comfortable and the bathroom is attached, both very clean. Outdoor seating with a lovely view to relax after a day of driving or hiking. Lovely breakfast and we enjoyed visiting with the owners about the history of their farm. We would highly recommend a stay here."

"Excellent weekend, very nice and friendly owners. So helpful and always available. Apsolutely amazing. A+!! The location is excellent for nature lovers. So peaceful and nice. Apsolutely recommended. You have a private sauna and hot tub for additional 55€ and it's very cool. With that, their dog is amazing, so friendly and a walk partner to desire. Thank you familija Apat, we will return for sure. Wonderful. 🙏🏻♥️"

Pretty much everything is perfect! Maybe another platform could be built for sleeping as it is much nicer than the bungalows.

Maybe at the entrance gate. It's not low car friendly as such. But I am sure it's part of the renovation.

"Service was exceptionally good. We miscommunicated with our driver and he waited at the wrong town. Front desk lady patiently help call for cab drivers. Many cab drivers were not available last min but she never give up helping us to make calls. We love the place, serene n beautiful. We stayed in the balcony room n it’s spacious with a big hot spring tub. My kids had a great time making diy chocolate and feeding fishes at their pond."

"We stayed in the cabin on the water and it was an incredible, unique, once in a lifetime experience. The power was intermittent and no wifi, but this is not a place you stay to sit on the internet. Woke up at 6am with an incredible almost 360 degree view on lake victoria of the sunrise. Totally worth it!"

Pretty much everything is perfect! Maybe another platform could be built for sleeping as it is much nicer than the bungalows.

"Most wonderful place! I feels like traveling back in time. The place has a big, well kept garden with great views over the mountains. The staff is outstanding, very friendly and helpful. The Manager was taking good care of me, showing me the surroundings a visited the tea factory with me. Very nice person! Also the cook was great. I will definately come back!"

"The place located in a beautiful area, lots of nature and peace of mind. The family that runs the farm are the nicest people, warm, kind and helpful. We loved the breakfast and also had very tasty dinner there. The facilities were very comfortable. Our kids loved the place! Very recommended for an authentic Serbian experience."
