"Very quaint hotel in a beautiful old town setting. In the old town and very nice for exploring the back alleys and enjoying the wonderful ambience. Very welcoming owner, who met us out front and handled our luggage for us. Wonderful breakfast on the veranda in the morning."

"We stayed in a triple room that was essentially the attic -so sloping low ceilings did result in a couple of head bonks. The adjacent mosque had a call to prayer at 5:30AM, which may not be as conducive for those wishing to sleep."

"The Master Hotel was located in a very good part of Berat - close to the main promenade and historical attractions. The proprietors were very helpful with directing us to their hotel before we checked in, and they were very helpful with parking our car for us and retrieving it for us when we went out for the day. The breakfast was very tasty and different each day. We had a lovely time at the Master Hotel!"

"The hotel is close to the castle, and the view from our room was absolutely stunning! Klevi was an incredible host who guided us through everything, and the location is surrounded by plenty of restaurants. We also enjoyed a delicious traditional Albanian breakfast, which made the stay even better."

"Terrific family owned accomodation. Beautiful renovation and with nice modern comforts including wifi and AC. The location is right in the center of town and easy walking to all the parts of Berat you want to visit including the castle. Breakfast was on the terrace overlooking town and view of the castle. Nicely done. Family was welcoming and helpful. I stayed for 3 nights. There is a tour office just next to the hotel doing day trips as well. I recommend day trip to Osum Canyon and region if you have the time. I highly recommend Master Hotel."

"I think my cat got a chip on it on the back from the staff when they took it…. Communication was hard they did not have change initially for me for the cash and I had to wait for the right change they wanted to round up the amount There is a minerat right outside the room which was not a problem it didn’t go off in the early morning but if you are taking a nap in the middle of the day it could be a problem"

The best and friendliest staff i met on our trip. location is prima, awesome little details in the room like long ledge running along room acts like a nightstand the to put your phones, water bottle; or fridge hidden inside the cupboard. healthy and tasty breakfast."
