"Not much to complain about. Limited number of showers but it never seemed to be a problem. They generally kept the AC off even when it was hot; that meant the doors were open and admitted mosquitoes (though not very many at this time of year). Once I learned how to operate the AC I was able to fix that problem myself. Also, the owner wanted 5 euros per day to keep my things while I did the 10-day Peaks of the Balkans trek; all together this would have cost me $70 or more. He wouldn’t budge even after I explained the situation, but I found someone else who would keep the things for a pittance and the other guy wound up getting nothing. In fairness, 5 per day seems to be the going rate, but I suspect that’s mostly for folks just doing the Valbona to Theth overnight."

"People were very loud right outside until 2-3AM. All the windows were kept open with the AC turned off which made it difficult to sleep since so many people right outside."

"Owner (Zef) was very kind and helpful. He explained everything to me when i checked in. Breakfast is included. They make really good coffee at their restaurant. The bed was comfortable and i was given a pair of slippers too. The towel was also included and there are several lockers to put your belongings. They have a nice balcony to chill. The location is perfect. Just 2 min walk to the pedestrian street."

"A perfect 10 star. This hostel excelled all the way. The family that runs the place is so kind, hospitable, accommodating, and attentive. They even took time to take some of us to their family farm where we picked fruit and ate together. Their hostel is above their bar which is another wonderful feature should you need to order any snacks or drinks really quick. Super quiet and clean. I highly recommend this hostel."

"The location was on the semi pedestrian Street, just across from the real pedestrian street, just behind the Rostafa Hotel. A great place to be, very central, and they had good bikes to rent. Although of above the bar, we heard absolutely nothing at night. It’s totally closed off from the rest of the building."

"I wish there were some curtains around the bed for a tiny bit of privacy. And also, to block out the early morning sunlight that came in through the windows."

"The hostel is pretty new and clean. They have very big lockers for your bags (my camping gear took up only half the space). WiFi, toilets, shower - everything works well."
