"This place is a jewel. Surrounded by nature, amazing views. Ideal if you want to escape from the city. I wish that we stayed for more days. Very clean and cozy. In the restaurant, all the food was fantastic, homemade and made on the same day. Keep in mind that if you want something that requires a complex preparation from the menu you might need to inform them in advance because everything is freshly made. The staff was exceptional, Lindo and his lovely aunt who cooked every day for us were incredible. If I go back to Albania, I will come back to this place."

"The breakfast was simple but very satisfying and delicious--it was farm fresh eggs, fig jam, honey, breads and cheese. Everything I had from their restaurant was so rich and tasty. My favorite part of my time there was roaming around their property picking wild blackberries, figs, and grapes to snack on. The location was remote, but it was off the main road. It was the right kind of quiet with enough people around for the type of retreat and peaceful stay I was looking for. The host and his family were very accomodating and pleasant, hardworking people. I communicated fine with English. I would recommend a stay here if you're looking for an authentic experience and a peaceful and quiet stay. Also, I appreciated their help with transportation getting to and from their location from the city! Five stars!"

"The bed I had wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked but I still slept OK. And, a few mornings I woke up early because I could hear the footsteps from the guests above me. Other than those minor things, I had absolutely NO real complaints!"

"We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed it a lot. Each day we went hiking to the lakes. We arrived to the location by a bus from Tirana which runs four times a day (at 7 a.m., 10 a.m., 2 p.m., 4p.m. from Kinostudio). What we enjoyed a lot were the dinners - local, fresh, traditional and homemade. The staff was very nice and helpful. We got our laundry done for a small amount of money. It was a great escape from the heat (38 degrees celcius), much better than in Tirana. The air-conditioning worked very well and had a silent mode."

"The shower was in a small room altogether with the toilet and a sink. The downside was the floor because the water didn't run directly to the water drainage but under the door to the hall between our room and the bathroom. A bathroom broom would have been helpful."
