"I liked everything about this place. The location was excellent to stay and visit Berat. The view from the balcony was very enjoyable. The breakfast was very good and we received a good welcome from the owner. The place was up a hill and the road to get there is a little tight so before you arrive communicate with the owner so he can assist you with parking. Please download WhatsApp as this is the most common app to communicate in Albania. I highly recommend this property and I would book again if I visit Berat on the future."

"The owner is very friendly and efficient and came down the street to show us where to park our car nearer to this house. The room and breakfast area are lovely and there is a great view of the town from there. It is very quiet at night for sleeping. This house if centrally located to the tourist attractions of the town, ie the Castle, the Mosques and restaurants. We enjoyed the 'Friendly Restaurant' in the town by the river - great food. There was live music in the town square one of the nights we were there."

"The lane up to the house is quite steep so wouldnt suit anyone with mobility issues and the car park is approx 50 mts from the house so you have to carry your suitcases uphill."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Host was always nearby to help with parking, check-in, anything we needed. Room was clean, comfortable, beautiful view from our balcony. And homemade breakfast was just the best."

"The terrace view! The owner/operator! And that free parking was available. The breakfast! On the terrace! The shower was great and looked nice too. Small TV but it worked well. Quiet at night.By the way, a tip to easily find the location: on Google Maps, find "Gate of the Pasha" and go up the narrow street directly opposite. Oh, we also liked the owner's dinner restaurant recommendation."

"The bed was a bit uncomfortable: it sort of leaned down to one side. Felt like I was going to roll off. We sorta play-fought as to who got that side! And this next point is really not a complaint, but be aware that it's a steep walk up the hill to get there. But of course that's why you have that great view!"

"Fantastic location with a lot to do and see in the area. Our host Igli was very friendly and helpful. He even helped us with parking our car which can be difficult in the narrow streets of Berat!"

"The description of the rooms could be a bit more clear. Some of the rooms with a private bathroom, the bathroom is not actually connected to the room (it can be accessed from a common area). In some rooms the bathroom is in the actual room. Be sure to check carefully, or ask if this matters to you."
