"My wife and I stayed one night as part of a circular drive from Venice to Slovenia, Austria and back to Venice. We arrived after lunch but before dinner, and Matteo was kind enough to arrange a Caprese Salad from the kitchen, since we'd missed lunch in our drive. Our second-floor room was spacious and spotless, and offered a spectacular panoramic mountain view. We ended the afternoon seated under a very large walnut tree behind the hotel, as did several locals who also got a table for beer and conversation. The hotel is a large old building that's in excellent condition, and it appears that it was recently remodeled with a distinctly mid-century vibe ... lots of nice wood grain, mid-century modern lines all complemented by excellent housekeeping."

"Everything was far above the expectations! The staff is amazing and the food was so good! My 5 years old boy had such a great time every evening after skiing in Kranjska Gora just 30 minutes by car from Alte Post. The staff is truly kind and friendly, the food Is just wow, our room was spacious and comfortable with and amazing view. Alte Post was far enough from the crowd, yet near to the ski school of my son since the idea was finding a hotel with a good food (the reviews are really true!) out of crowded Kranjska Gora so that my son could eventually even sleep while driving in the afternoon from Kranjska Gora back to the hotel. It seemed as a perfect solution since from the beginning and we had such a great time there! A huge thanks to the staff for being so wellcomeing and kind since we were treated as part of the family ❤️ Love from Istria"

"We were very satisfied with the accommodation. What we appreciated the most was the friendly and very helpful staff, thanks to which the hotel has a great atmosphere. The rooms are well equipped, clean, cleaned every day. The restaurant cooked very well, we also enjoyed breakfast very much. The location is very quiet, nice environment, safe parking in the yard. The hotel is located close (1km) to the main road leading to the Nassfeld ski resort, you don't have to climb anywhere high into the mountains, the journey to the cable car takes exactly 30 minutes. There are two shops nearby, Spar and Billa, and Eni gas station."

"Beautiful renovated old house with big court. The rooms are amazing with a gallery and plenty of beds and space. I recommend eating in the restaurant. I wish we could stay longer than 1 night. It is a must visit place, very romantic."

"Hotel is located 30 minutes away by car from Nassfeld ski cable car. There are two grocery shops in that small town which work untill 6 p.m. Hotel is pretty quite. You can sleep well and rest yourself."
