"At Johannes'and Family Waechter's Haus Watrenburg it was a perfect stay Room was lovely in an old Austrian style...and beautiful religious pictures everywhere made the stay so warm and inviting Breakfast was very good!! Staff quite lovely and helpful Great location!!"

"Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was excellent value. Beds very comfortable. Location is a little outside of the town but a pleasant walk to the main sights and well connected by a frequent bus service (visitors to Salzburg are entitled to a free travel pass, which the staff explained how to get). Recommend to visit the nearby Augustiner brewery if possible!"

"Amazing place, it has a real Salzburg feel to it. The staff are very helpful with your needs. The manager is always available to assist with any information to make your stay more enjoyable. The restaurant on site is very good food. The markets & tunnel are 5 minutes away. It is within walking distance of all the sites. Shane"

"Breakfast I would advise to have it is very good and great value. The people were great it is a very unique place with great history. Rooms we used were very large private baths and clean. We had free bus and close to stop just hopped on and off in historic Saltzburg. I would stay again it is a great value and everything else is expensive so I saved a lot of money by staying."

"Staff was great. Its a 16th century Monastery, lots of cool details all over the place. even the overly complicated door handles look like they ware made by a blacksmith centuries ago. All the door frames were low and I bumped my head a few times. , I guess people were shorter 400yrs ago. Very close to the Castle."

"We really liked the location — only a 3-minute drive to the ski lift. Parking was convenient, and the views from the windows were very nice. The apartment was warm and cozy. The kitchen-living area with the sofa and TV was especially comfortable, perfect for relaxing in the evening. The bathroom was great, with a good shower and the existing bathtub, which was a nice bonus. Overall, we liked everything. If the existing bathtub were converted into a jacuzzi, it would be an absolutely top-level bonus and would make the stay even more exceptional."
