"Meike is fabulous, she is one of the best hosts I have ever encountered. And for those traveling from the US, don’t be concerned, Meike lived for a bit in NYC so she knows how you like your eggs and coffee….and she still surprises you with some Flemish/Dutch and French specialties!"
"N/A everything was terrific!"
"Mieke and her husband are great owners and hostesses. The B&B is beautiful and the rooms are excellent. Breakfast was amazing with freshly baked pastries from the local bakery. We only stayed two nights as we were there for a bike race but would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommend B&B Pastorie Balegem."

"Beautiful setting with farm animals, nicely decorated places to sit and relax outside, great breakfast and helpful staff. Always nice to have chocolate on your bed as a little treat."

"Very welcoming and accommodating owner. Excellent breakfast. Spacious and clean room with good bathroom. Space to store the bicycles. Very quiet and rural location at 5 km from the small town Zoutleeuw, largely connected by bicycle only paths?"

"The hospitality you get from the landlady is exceptional. The only downside of our stay is that we could not stay longer!"

"Travelling for work so having and appartment with cooking facillities is ideal for me. The appartment was a nice size, perfect for two people, very comfy bed and good powerful shower which are my two musts in any hotel. Instructions send prior to arrival were clear with passcodes for the building and room. Very easy to find the building and the car parks were all sign posted even in English, the parking itself was easy and again well signposted so you knew which part to park in for you appartment building. Lift takes you straight up into the appartments, which were easy to find and easy to enter with the previously emailed passcode. I used the pool fascilities on the first night."
"Lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting. Fantastic night of sleep in a very comfortable bed with nice duvets and pillows. Incredible breakfast the next morning."

"It is located fairly close to the airport, you can reach it even on foot ~2.5km. Of course not as close as airport hotel, but 3-4 times cheaper. Street is calm. Sufficient space. Full small kitchen with fridge."
