"This was a return visit having stayed 5 years ago. We thought the accommodation was exceptional then and on our return it was as delightful as the first. The reindeer in the paddock was new and gave us many joyful moments observing them and the hens, peacocks. Many World War sites available near by. Unfortunately for us we had trouble with our bikes charging and although could not fault the help and time, of the three bike shops we visited, all with a smile, we had to revert to car and walking. At least after a full day out we knew we had home comforts awaiting us. Would definitely recommend."

"Stayed for a week at De Lekkermond and what a brilliant location and accommodation. My youngest daughter was absolutely besotted with the deer and peacocks. Every morning she would go out and sit and watch them. When asked what her favourite part of the trip was it was the animals where we were staying at De Lekkermond every time. The owners were lovely and made us feel very welcome. Lots to see and do locally and everyone was very friendly. During our stay we visited Plopsaland De Panne, Diksmuide, Tyne Cot Cemetery, Ypres (last posts at 8pm), Trench of Death, Bruges (We got the train from Torhout) and finally the beach at Bredene."

"Lovely place to stay with plenty to do in the area. Definitely worth having a car to travel around and to get to transport links. The house is very well kept and decorated with many amenities. The surroundings are beautiful with deer and peacocks to watch. The owners next door are lovely and made us feel very welcome"

"Abbiamo trascorso 4 giorni in questa stupenda casa nella campagna belga per visitare le Fiandre. Ci siamo trovati davvero molto bene, a partire dell'accoglienza della Sig.ra Christine, gentilissima e disponibile. L'appartamento è molto bello e luminoso, dotato di tutti i comfort, in particolare una cucina davvero ben attrezzata con tutto il necessario. Ci sono piaciute anche molto le camere da letto mansardate e l'assoluta tranquillità del posto."

"Travelling for work so having and appartment with cooking facillities is ideal for me. The appartment was a nice size, perfect for two people, very comfy bed and good powerful shower which are my two musts in any hotel. Instructions send prior to arrival were clear with passcodes for the building and room. Very easy to find the building and the car parks were all sign posted even in English, the parking itself was easy and again well signposted so you knew which part to park in for you appartment building. Lift takes you straight up into the appartments, which were easy to find and easy to enter with the previously emailed passcode. I used the pool fascilities on the first night."
"Lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting. Fantastic night of sleep in a very comfortable bed with nice duvets and pillows. Incredible breakfast the next morning."

"It is located fairly close to the airport, you can reach it even on foot ~2.5km. Of course not as close as airport hotel, but 3-4 times cheaper. Street is calm. Sufficient space. Full small kitchen with fridge."
