"I don't like that there were no shower downstairs. And I don't like there were no bedrooms downstairs. But the biggest problem is there were no non-slip stair treads. It was kind of scary going down the straight stairs like that without something to keep me from slipping on the stairs"

"House is very nice, well-apportioned, and in a superb location. On-site free parking and fenced yard. Really great place for family (or two) w/in walking distance of downtown Bruges. Didn't meet host in person, but he was very responsive via Booking.com messaging."

"Nitpicking, but 2 of 4 bedrooms upstairs have en-suite shower and sink but no toilet. The other two bedrooms have no plumbing features. There is also a bathroom off the upstairs landing with two sinks and a shower, but again, no toilet. Instead, there are 2 toilets in separate "water closets" on the other side of the landing (not connected to the bathrooms), but they do not have sinks for washing. Its kind of a weird setup. On ground floor there is a half-bath toilet & sink near the kitchen area."

"Big spacious house with lots of amenities. Clean and well equipped kitchen and a games room. Nice outdoor space with plenty of seating. Good communication from the host and easy access to the house."

"Bathroom layouts are slightly quirky with 2 ensuite shower rooms with sinks and a house bathroom with the same, 2 separate toilets upstairs without sinks meaning a little walk to the sinks."

"Location for walking into town was great, around 30 mins. Parking in site was good. House comfortable. plenty of space. Dog friendly garden for our two little dogs :) Information on where to take the dogs to Vets for our trip back to UK was useful from the host - thank you"

"A folder of what's nearby would be handy, I did find a map that was useful. Also some Milk / Water in the fridge would have been great on arrival for a cup of tea :) The house size was great, the bathroom situation was odd, no bathroom had a toilet. Looks like the house is being done up as the main bathroom was nice, but instead of two sinks a toilet would be more useful. If 2 families or more staying it could get busy. There was a slight damp smell upstairs, possibly from a previous leak or similar. Or being closed up for a bit? Not that noticable but if you were downstairs and move up... you could smell it. Suprised how the house was a little noisey, odd to explain as its in a quite area but if a car went past it almost shook the house / windows. Maybe as no carpets etc so the noise feels louder. Overall though, great area and nice accomodation. We would be happy to use again and see what further updates are being done. Thank you"

"The size of the property was perfect for our visit. We were 2 families (8 in total) and found the property very spacious. The quality of furnishings was high standard. The en suite showers are a great touch and the trampoline was an added bonus that the children loved!"
