Bevare with the taxi drivers, especially near the public transport area, they are basically criminals. (Nothing to do with this with the property/staff tho, this is a completely different problem.)

"Accommodation is near the city center, very basic but clean and decent. Clean sheets and towels were available. Very easy to find, it is on the street corner. Free street parking is available on the the street."

We had to call the host by cellular phone while in rooming because no one was at the property at the time of arrival. Luckily host arrived few minutes later. I think it would be better if they used a small locker with code for the key.

"Excellent place. Great location near the airport. Easy to walk to and no need for shuttle even. Safe area, clean and with enough options for food and entertainment. Staff was great and communication with Abiy (owner and host) was spot on. His hotel staff is super friendly and welcoming. From the person who helped me with the luggage to the lovely ladies who would bring me breakfast all the way to the room. I can’t say enough good things about Cheers Bed and Breakfast. Big thank you and if I come back to Addis again, I hope to stay in this place once more. Greetings from the USA."

All was great. Simple yet efficient place, just the way I like it for the adventure traveler. Good for any sort of traveler, from business to leisure.

"I checked out the room and then in the airport I got the news that my flight was delayed for 5 hours. I came back in the hotel and they allowed me to stay in my room. Thanks for understanding. The hotel doesn't offer food though they recommended the good restaurant nearby. They have a driver to arrange a transfer when necessary. So nice when we were in a rush to the airport!I"

I would recommend to renew towels. They were clean but old.

"Le K organised a car for the trip from the airport, and the driver was still there after my flight was delayed for 12h. For sure we stayed in touch during all the delays, in a friendly and hassle free way. Then they went on to help me organise the rest of my stay in Mauritania, in a way that was just amazing. Really friendly people, genuine hospitality and 100% recommended."

"The property was beautiful and so clean. The staff was so helpful, kind and accommodating. The pool had an amazing view of mountains. I would love to come back."

"Before arriving, we were in Iran with no internet, so we could not contact the hotel for pick-up. The staff member, F*r*d*, was very kind and helpful, so we did not wait long. Because we arrived late and could not exchange money, she even lent us her own money, all she had that night. The hotel was very comfortable, clean, and relaxing, so we extended our stay. We had a small issue with one heater, but she tried to find and brought us a portable heater. In one cold and snowy night after sightseeing, she made tea by herself in the kitchen and served us hot tea. It was a small thing, but very unexpected and truly touching. Another staff member, M*r*i*, was also very helpful. He worked efficiently and made everything easy for guests. He also helped us find a good driver to tour the city. When we left the hotel, he was very helpful as well. Small gestures like these made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended!"

"Nous sommes restés une nuit seulement car il s'agissait d'un point d'étape pour nous. L'accueil était très bon, et le petit déjeuné vraiment super et très local."

Le lit est vraiment ferme, mais les 3 logements de notre séjour étaient comme ça donc j'imagine que c'est classique en Guadeloupe.

"The location was peaceful and offered some good walks in the mountains. The facilites were excellent, the bathroom had recently been upgraded and the kitchen had everything needed to prepare a meal. The host were very helpful and nonintrusive. The farm eggs were great value and I enjoyed eating fresh farm eggs for breakfast."

I really enjoyed my stay at Gîte Domaine de la Ferme d'Erambere, and would return.

Check-in must be done in the hotel nearby. It would have been much better to know that at forehand, before standing at a closed door with al our luggage. Of course there's an option to do it all by some app but I'm still not ready to surrender my whole life to a smartphone.

"Great breakfast and I like that it was a la carte. I can't say enough about it nor about the staff. Everyone was very courteous, professional, helpful, and accommodating. I also loved the location, only a few minutes from Palais Sans-Souci and Citadelle."

"Location was great. And nothing beats the local dishes for breakfast. The convience of the washer and dryer right in the apartment was awesome!! I think the gated area added to the security of the apartment, and so you feel safe staying there."

I think some basic essentials would be nice, like salt, pepper, and oil to cook with:-)

It would be nice if the water faucet outside could be made easier to wash hands and brush teeth in. Maybe raise it up a little higher and add some sort of shelf for soap?

"Good location near the main street with bus stop and supermarkets and restaurants. Room is clean and bathroom is newly renovated. Although the room is next to a main street there was no traffic noise. Great with parking included and breakfast included. Good with some cookies and dried wasa bread and coffee is available all day."

The wardrobe in the room was broken, the door cannot be opened. A towel for the floor in the bathroom was missing. The breakfast is a simple business breakfast and not a holiday breakfast buffet. Stairs to come to your room. So if you have luggage it is a bit trouble.

"The place was clean, close the the airport and the host were very welcoming. I love the airport shuttle. The host were on time to pick up and drop off. Always answered the phone and kept contact the day I got there to ensure landing times etc. Would definitely recommend."

"Location was excellent, close to the river - and the overall vibe was great. It feels like you're really in the jungle, with lots of interesting birds and even warthogs coming to visit. The bar and pool area were very enjoyable. The river cruise was also fantastic. I love that it left right from the hotel's dock."

The rooms could have been a bit cleaner. The ramp up to the bar area becomes extremely slippery when wet and I saw one guest fall while using it. It definitely needs to have thin planks of wood added to it to provide grip. The food was okay - the meat a bit chewy and the ingredients did not taste super fresh. The breakfast, however, was great. Be prepared to use mosquito spray!

It’s a little far outside from the main part of town. There is no bus that goes to the dudeks nest so you have to find rides which sometimes can be a little tricky. Sometimes the wild chickens are loud in the mornings.
