"A wonderful, flower- filled and charming B&B in a quiet and peaceful location in Cotonou. The owner greeted me so warmly and welcomed me home as a Haitian daughter of Benin. She shared with me that the father of Toussaint L’Ouverture was born in Alladah and that his direct descendant is still a King there. I added a visit to Alladah to my itinerary and it was the highlight of my trip!!!"

"Great area. Very private and quiet. Air conditioning, wifi and shower all work perfectly. Small room but definitely okay for a solo traveller. This accommodation is in a renovated former family home. Continental breakfast with super coffee and fresh fruit/ juice. I enjoyed the firm bed and the garden terrace for breakfast and evening relaxation. The owner is very friendly and a great source of information for anything you might want to do."

"Location was great- quiet neighbourhood near shopping mall. Breakfast was also great. Lovely gardens, we enjoyed spending time on the patio at night. The owner, Madam Bel, is a friendly and a delightful host."

"Nice and comfortable stay. Very close to the city center and easy to get to and back even in peak hours. You got your own set of keys so you could come and go at any time and very safe area as the president residence is a few meters from the location. Close to a good restaurant Maquis la Résidence, walking distance. Staff were great and Madam Bel was always available should there was a need."
"Mosquitos ... man those things were everywhere but it's not a fault of the residence. Once I told the staff of the problem they sprayed the room and it was much better. WiFi has a slight problem but was fixed within a few hours."
"Gorgeous garden, especially since it is being used to exhibit some gorgeous paintings at the moment. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. Plus the location is excellent. A restaurant nearby that we can recommend is Bangkok Terrasse."
