Guest reviews for Alpine Meadows Resort
"We enjoyed the setting. We were impressed by the beauty of the autumn colours and the design and development of the property."
"The road getting there is a little rough but we realized we could have avoided most of it by taking a different route."
"The dinner was fine and the chalet was really nice. The view over the lake is great and the atmosphere is peaceful. We appreciate the feeders for the hummingbirds"
"The breakfast was disappointing. The location is rather remote compared to Clearwater. The road is terrible coming from south but ok coming from Clearwater."
"It’s incredibly comfortable and cozy—the perfect choice for a relaxing getaway with all the facilities you need. The staff and guest manager are exceptionally kind Highly recommended"

"Breakfast was OK. When we checked in we were told breakfast was complementary, but when we went to breakfast it wasn't... It was just OK."

"Quiet, restful and absolutely stunning environment. Wished we could have stayed longer."
"The drive up was long and difficult. Signage on the way up would have helped encourage us to keep going. We almost turned back several times, only to find out that it was beyond our expeditions. Thank you!"
"Very quiet. Large, beautiful house with a whirlpool. The location is beautiful in the forest and by the lake. Breakfast was included."
"Long drive ro Clearwater"
"Idyllic location. Peaceful and beautiful setting. Good space of accomodation and balcony in the 2 bedroom cabin and good facilities in the cabin to make breakfast etc. Lovely friendly staff. Complimentary WiFi."
"Would have been great if one of the bathrooms offered a walk-in shower rather than shower over bath as one of our party had mobility issues. Air-conditioning was a little on the noisy side (but probably would not matter to those who are not light sleepers)"
"We loved the peaceful location at the lake in the middle of nature. Cosy cabins and a lovely balcony for the best sunsets at the lakes."

"It was nice stay good place to spend your vacation. Calm, and peaceful. Little expensive"
"There are few things I would suggest: There were bettle(not bed bugs but like Rhagium mordox) inside the place even on bed too. We got stung by them. There were mosquitoes which we were not aware of You should carry mosquitoes spray and after mosquitoes bite treatment gels During booking the photo visible is different then log house we got it is not right next to the lake. View was there but it was not like clean view We stayed for three days and 2 nights. I would suggest the staff can call and ask for assurance everything is ok and send house keeping because there are mosquitoes and bettles. Now I felt 760+ for 2 nights is bit expensive."
"Basic breakfast, but at a great location. Watching the hummingbirds!"

Guest reviews
"The location of the property is excellent for viewing the Aurora Borealis as it is located on the shore of Great Slave Lake which provides ample open space when the lake is frozen in the winter for a great viewing experience. The accommodations were comfortable and clean and well heated, a plus for a winter visit like ours.. Ben, the substitute on-site manager was extremely helpful during our stay. Yellowknife is a wonderful small town to visit and enjoy during the winter"
