"The best price compared with the nearest competitors, the old montreal area is a very nice and fine place for fine people"
"Once I checked in my first impression having may shoes in the door entrance was a little bit shocking, later next morning I got it, it's a hotel rules... but please do no let those shoes visible at first sight"
"nice rooms with enough space. though i need to buy a locker seperately to lock my things. nice that there was no issue with bathrooms, there were enough of the them for all the people in the hostel"

"It’s a great hostel, VERY CLEAN including the washrooms (whats the most important factor for me) but also staff friendly and quiet at night would definitely come back!"

"It was clean, the staff were friendly, the common area and kitchen were great and the location was awesome."
"Beds are super uncomfortable, you get what you pay for."
"The hostel is perfect! Really comfortable and clean. And of course, Ramon in the reception desk is really kind and polite with the guests."

"I thought the staff were lovely, and they were always accessible. The view from the room was stellar, and the liveliness of the common area was the highlight of the stay."
"The washrooms on the third floor in the other hostel (separate from the main one with the common room) had a strange smell, but perhaps that is to be expected when one shares a limited set of washrooms with multiple people over multiple days. The beds were not very comfortable, but that is to be expected."
"This hostel was a very good value for Montreal. The location was very convenient for walking and exploring Old Montreal, as well as accessing many shops, restaurants, and major tourist attractions in the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the facilities were complete. I would recommend this hostel to anyone."
"The building felt a bit dated, but it was still very functional and offered good value for the price."
"Staff were accommodating when I had to stay an extra night. The blankets were great when it got chilly & the kitchen was kept clean."
"I saw a tiny mouse behind the kitchen trash which makes sense since it's a very old building."
"Excellent hostel with wonderful staff and convenient location."
"Nothing!"

"The rooms, kitchen facilities, pools ,the building was good"
"The location of the property is excellent for viewing the Aurora Borealis as it is located on the shore of Great Slave Lake which provides ample open space when the lake is frozen in the winter for a great viewing experience. The accommodations were comfortable and clean and well heated, a plus for a winter visit like ours.. Ben, the substitute on-site manager was extremely helpful during our stay. Yellowknife is a wonderful small town to visit and enjoy during the winter"
