"The view is amazing, and the bed was extremely comfortable!! Tina the on island support/cleaner was extremely helpful and delightful! We will be staying in one of the larger accommodations very soon(already booked). The hosts were also very helpful and provided us with all the information we needed to know about this beautiful hidden gem Sointula!"

"A well appointed room in a lovely setting. Easy access, very clean and had everything that we needed. An easy walk into the town where we visited the cafe, Co-op and museum. Very friendly Island."

"Room had everything we needed and it was very easy to find. They found out it’s my birthday and had Tina sing a song and gave me a bottle of wine. Lynne is so kind! Everyone on the island is so kind!!"

"Your feet are dangling over the Pacific ocean at high tide, with a view across the strait of the Island mountains, the ferry comings and goings and possibly the odd whale, from the deck, and Port McNeill's twinkling lights from your comfy pillow. Nature at your deck. I doubt that there is a safer place on the planet. Excellent internet connection. I have stayed here 4 times and I hope that there will be a fifth. The host Lynne, could not possibly be a nicer person."

"Through no fault of Orca Lodge, I noticed that the perfectly drinkable water has a sulphury scent to it for the last couple of years, which I easily circumvent by bringing a container of water for drinking. I never did master the art of making toast in the toaster oven."

"The location is beautiful and very convenient, it's so lovely to just sit on the balcony and watch the water, birds, boats etc. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed, and we were able to make and share our meals together there."

"We stayed at the Orca Lodge during our honeymoon and as we stepped inside our room we found an incredible lovely surprise - thank you again Lynne ❤️ The room itself was very clean, well equipped, really cozy and comfortable with a breathtaking view. We also enjoyed the island very much. Beautiful landscape and hikes and such warming and friendly people there. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 6/5 ⭐️"
