"When we arrived an individual stood at the top of the stairs with what appeared to be groceries. Didn’t respond to us when we made our way upstairs. The access gate to the rooms was open. Not sure what that was all about. Went out of the room later and they were gone. Struggled a little to open the gate (with code) appears gate has had its challenges. The accommodation is located right on Terminal Avenue (main thoroughfare in Nanaimo) so there was road noise. Our room faced that road. Request a room facing the Back of the building and you would be fine. All in all a nice property. Be sure to request a room at the back."

"A bit too far to walk places in the area. Couldn’t figure out the WiFi code since it isn’t posted anywhere in the room, we are coming from abroad so didn’t have service had to go somewhere with free WiFi to try messaging the owner but eventually the automated assistant thru booking.com helped me."
"The accommodations were clean, very comfy bed, hot showers, ample towels. Liked having the microwave and mini-fridge with bar seating for morning coffee. Appreciated the additional coffee keurigs in lobby."
