Guest reviews for Wild Coast Chalets
"Cabin feels cozy, nestled up against a rock wall. Afternoon sunshine (March) on the deck. Nice gas fireplace, fire pit for bonfires, bbq, stove and oven. Close to stores, a short drive from Botanical Beach."
"Feels small inside, especially for 3 or 4 adults, though the deck adds a lot of outdoor space- it was colder when we visited, so quite cozy with all of us inside. Is in a subdivision of cabins, not in the forest. The campfire and deck are partly visible from the road, so partly though not totally private."
"We truly enjoyed our stay. We were pleasantly surprised by a wonderful complimentary bonus - the host sent us a message early in the morning on the day of arrival offering early check-in at any time convenient for us instead of the standard 4 PM. That was incredibly thoughtful and very much appreciated. A fantastic extra touch. The cottage itself was lovely. Everything was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. Check-in and check-out were simple and convenient. The location is beautiful, and honestly, we cannot find a single thing to mention negatively. Only positive impressions and sincere thanks for the complimentary early check-in. Highly recommended!"

"The ocean view of the property is amazing! The place is clean and equipped with everything we need. It’s a home away from home. We love the sound of the ocean when you open the slidings doors/windows. We will definitely come back."

"Location, ease of check in, nice to get 2 cabins close together - but one cabin was much more spacious than the other."
"Cleanliness, the floors and surfaces were a bit dusty."
"Amenities were great, location right in this small cozy community and it had everything you would need."

"Chalet was very well equipped and very comfortable. Everything worked well and was easy to find everything."
"Chalet number (#10) was not visible from the street. Pricing was strange, ie advertised at $145 a night but the small print said "plus $150 for extras including $130 for cleaning". This is misleading so chalet was really almost $300 per night."
"We loved the cosy space. This is our 2ns visit this year. The view is amazing all day."

"The cabin was perfect for two of us . The location was great , cabin and property were clean and was quiet."
"We were very happy and wanted for nothing."
"Very quaint, clean, and roomy cottage for the two of us."
"Coastal view would have been nice."
"This was our 2nd stay at this cabin. We brought our two large breed dogs- so it was cozy, but the perfect little weekend getaway. The cabin is not large, so I wouldn't recommend more than two adults, but it's got everything you need, a beautiful view, and walkable location to Tomi's to grab a delicious breakfast, or lunch! We'll stay again for sure!"
"It was wonderful- I think pillows are subjective, but my only complaint is the pillows are flat pretty bad at doing their job (a bit lacklustre). If you are a pillow snob, bring your own. Bed was comfy though!"

"The rooms, kitchen facilities, pools ,the building was good"
"The location of the property is excellent for viewing the Aurora Borealis as it is located on the shore of Great Slave Lake which provides ample open space when the lake is frozen in the winter for a great viewing experience. The accommodations were comfortable and clean and well heated, a plus for a winter visit like ours.. Ben, the substitute on-site manager was extremely helpful during our stay. Yellowknife is a wonderful small town to visit and enjoy during the winter"
