"The place is really beautiful, with a very green garden. It is like a little piece of paradise. The hamacs are very comfortable, with mosquitos repellent net and air conditioner hanging right above you. We were the only ones using the kitchen, but worked out fine. The hosts are very nice!"

"A very cozy place for those who want to enjoy nature and tranquility. Convenient to reach by car from Ljubljana. Kamnik is a 10-minute drive away, where you can go shopping or visit a café. In the evening, you can enjoy sitting around the campfire. There is a large meadow where children and adults can play. There is a convenient shared area with facilities and a kitchen."

We experienced difficulties getting the keys due to a small mistake by the staff, but it was resolved fairly quickly. In summer, it gets quite hot at night in the houses.

"The location is so beautiful -- so many birds and their songs; the stars at night are stunning. It is so peaceful there, a perfect place to unplug and relax. Manolo is awesome and what he is doing is really special."

"The host are super nice and really helpful. They recommended some tours in the area and a restaurant in town. The property was affected by the floods a few months ago so it was muddy when we went. The cabin were super clean and the beds confortable. Overall, we quite enjoyed the experience. The property is on a monkey trail so we saw monkeys both days we were there. Be ready to be woken up at 5.30-6am by howling monkeys, but your can spend hours watching them."

Make sure to bring mosquito spay since they are quite a few after sunset. No wifi on property and network isn’t steady, you can go to a restaurant in town of you need it.

"I had such a great stay at Lac Castor! My hut was right on the lake and was well stocked with firewood and cooking utensils. It was a little more off-grid than I expected. It seems as though the huts lighting works from solar power only so the lights did start to cut out in the evening, there isn't much/any cell service and there weren't outlets to be able to charge my phone. The communal toilets however did have working outlets that could be used. But I would 100% stay here again! The site is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Being able to take a canoe out onto the lake at sunset was just magic! And the staff are so friendly. I would highly recommend staying here!"

It would be nice to have more power to the huts, but I was very happy with it nonetheless.

"Everything absolutely. Great position to the old city of Sarajevo. Amazing view from cupola to Sarajevo. The staff is absolutely hospitable and beyond helpful."

"It was a true eco Lodge experience! It was almost like camping and the surrounding nature is incredible. They hire canoeing tours around the island as well which was great. The staff was great and was more than willing to assist with any requests. They have a big library and it's a great opportunity to digital detox"

This experience may not be for everyone. The wifi was shotty and slow at best. If you want freedom to travel, be prepared to pay extra for the boats. Otherwise you are restricted to the island except for the 1 free boat each way per day. We didn't mind this though. They have an extensive menu and many vegetarian options but it was average.

"Amazing camp accessible by car. We only had front-wheel drive Dacia, so it was a bit difficult to get there. If you go, lease a 4x4 for sure. We only wanted a day trip on camels, so we arrived by car. There are many camps that you can visit on a multi-day trip on camels deeper in the desert, however, if you only want a day trip on camels and have car, this is a must-visit. Personnel superb, food superb Bathroom facilities better than most hotels, in the tent (available outside of tent as well - they have public bathrooms) They booked a day trip on camels. We wanted to try this limited version before going on a multiple day trip on camels. I suggest telling them that you don't want to spend 4h on the lunch break. It's too long. 2h of break is enough. You go about 2h on camels' backs and then back after lunch. This camp was top 2 experiences we had in morocco. If you want larger and more iconic sand dunes, visit Merzouga. The dunes here are small, yet beautiful"

There is a lot of mice. One mouse bit me in sleep to my finger. Before you go to bed, don't bring any food into the tent and put the door-mat behind the doors so mice don't have a way in. If you come during winter, bring a sleeping bag, it was very cold. They had 5 blankets though. I suggest, when there's cold, that one person sleeps in sleeping bag, one with blankets.
