"Perfect little cabin / apartment with everything you need and great access / views of lake and mountains outside your door. As I read in a review when i booked this, really wish we had stayed more than 1 night. We could have happily stayed a week here. Great base in Vagamo with a 25 minute drive to Lom and access to Jotunheimen National Park. Highly recommend!"

"We were met by Valda who presented us with a beautiful tray of lovely tomatoes from her garden and a fresh bouquet. She explained all the facilities to us and made certain we had no questions. The rooms were clean and well outfitted. Easy walk to the dunes. Lovely very private setting."

The rooms were a little small but still comfortable enough for two people.

Sometimes the water didn’t work. There were large black wasps making a nest in the washroom.

"I stayed at Little Garden House and found it to be a charming and comfortable place, especially suitable for cyclists or other travelers looking for a peaceful stop. The location was a bit tricky to find at first, but once there, everything went smoothly. The host was very friendly and welcoming. She gave a helpful introduction to the facilities, including the cabin itself, the kitchen, and the shower area. The small cabin was cozy and pleasant, and the kitchen and sauna/shower located in an old outbuilding were also perfectly adequate for my needs. Overall, a nice and practical accommodation option in a quiet setting."

"The room was comfortable, and discreet. Felt like a little retreat once you got inside and closed the door. Plenty of food and restaurant options very close by with busy stops about 5 mins away. All in all a great room for seeing the city on your own time. The host also is very prompt with communication and even helped me with some trouble of a left behind item!!"

"Very good stay at quiet place surrounded by stunning nature. The inside is quite new and very clean. Friendly and attentive owners who speak some English. Their daughter speaks English well. Muy bien!!"

Room was exceptionally warm and hard to moderate the temperature. We eventually asked for the floor heating to be turned off completely and then opened all the windows and doors for over an hour to bring the temperature back down to a suitable value.

"The staff are good. They can pick you up from airport, though in Niue you really had better rent a car! Kitchen had enough tools to cook with. Bathroom had all one needs. Walking distance from food, bank. You can befriend other guests, if you are lucky!"

Bring an outlet converter with USB ports, or you won't be able to recharge your phone and use the fan at the same time.

The property is up a very steep hill (but we knew this before booking) so you would definitely need a car to get there. It wasn't an issue at all for us, but is good to know before booking.

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bertos Lodge. From the moment we arrived, the owner made us feel so welcome — incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, and we slept incredibly well. What really made our stay special was the owner going the extra mile by helping us plan an itinerary for things to do in the area. Thanks to that, we had an amazing time and truly made the most of our visit. We can highly recommend Bertos Lodge and would definitely stay here again!"

"El lugar en si es bastante placentero, sin ruido de carros, rodeado de árboles y la cabaña es una belleza, muy limpia, amplia, cómoda, con absolutamente lo necesario para pasar un fin de semana bastante relajado.
