"We made use of the campsite. The food was amazing and we were very happy to make use of the outdoor shower and having our hiking clothes washed. Back on the trail feeling refreshed! The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. Would definitely recommend this place!"

The single tent is convienice for me too.I met with local ranger and his wife. They both are so friendly. They told the story of that area and it was expereince I never had before. "Nous avons passé une nuit au Village Nature Les Balisiers avant de partir pour Régina et avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour. Le carbet est très sympa, avec des lits installés sous le toit, ce qui donne beaucoup de charme. La crique est adorable et parfaite pour se baigner facilement, même avec un enfant. Mamie Arlette est extrêmement à l’écoute et chaleureuse, ce qui rend l’accueil encore plus agréable. Bon à savoir , possibilité de manger sur place pour 35 euros par personne"

"The campsite has an astonishing view of the lake Manyara and the national park. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The unique igloos have a pleasant interior atmosphere and are comfortable to sleep in. The campsite is ideally located for visiting the various national parks in the region. The restaurant serves excellent food."

It's hard to say anything negative.

"Très simple, très naturel,avec beaucoup de bon coeur l'accueil de ce Lodge qui appartient à une école.Le directeur de l'école m'a servi généreusement de taxi plusieurs fois pour me rendre à Levingstone,au Chutes Victoria et j'ai fait un safari avec lui dans son 4×4 pour un prix avantageux."

Le village de Simonga est très authentique de la pauvreté zambienne sans misère,ici ils sont heureux avec très peu. Pour moi habitué à un peu d'abondance il manque beaucoup ici sans aller à la ville.

All the utilities, everything you need to have a fire, cook dinner , sauna! We couldn’t stop exploring this beautiful place. Don’t even hesitate to, book it for sure!! "The restaurant is right on the water - and the food is worth it! Home cooked goodness. I’m glad we ate there rather than trying other options. Quiet at night and plenty of parking."

It was hard to find the exact turn off the highway at night - we arrived on the first day of the time change so it was pitch black (earlier than we thought). Construction signage was a little confusing.

It was a little lonely. I generally stay in hostels and missed talking with travelers from around the world

"nice location in village type neighborhood quiet walkable distance to the dunes the tents are neat beds are comfortable bathroom has hot water and clean the whole area the food is very fine with the vegetarian option as well the host is a very nice helpful humble man you can rely on him without any fear"

"The property is right on the forest and beach so wonderful forest paths to discover nearby. The staff were super friendly and helpful, giving us a lift into town when we were tired after a long day of biking."

The room was a bit small for two people, with a double bed against the wall.

The hot water was not stable. It should have been better if there was a hairdryer, too.

"We have booked a tent as a family with a 4.5 years old child. It was very clean and comfortable. All amenities are modern, clean and there is everything you might need and more. Pool was clean, temperature was comfortable for kids to sweam even though it is not heated. There is also a terrace with a breathtaking view. You can cook or order tasty food from nearby Cafe with local Armenian food with delivery free of charge. Host is very friendly and helpful. This place is better than the fotos. Highly recommend it!"
