"Peaceful, tranquil and only a few minutes walk from one of the world's best beaches. If you're looking at getting back to nature then this is the place."

"The place was beautiful and clean and exactly as described. It was a lovely stay. The view was amazing and the location was practical, close enough to walk on foot to the city center. But also far enough to be quiet and calm. The staff "Khalid" was pleasant and polite and very helpful."

The only downside was the staff "Ahmed" who was unpleasant and rude and when I told him he is being impolite he didn't even apologize and got worse. Thankfully Khaled was there to deal with instead. I would recommend guests to deal with him directly.

"Clean, tidy, has everything you need. Stunning view right from the window. It is on the hiking trails. The restaurant is nice, wallet friendly and hypersonically fast. The staff are very kind and welcoming. I will definitely come back. (Bring your own little water heater, when you come.)"

Everything was great, nothing to complain about

"The villa was very warm and comfy ! It had all the kitchen equipments needed,even more than expected, if you want u can take food and cook it there. The oven, the wooden heater, the refrigerator,air conditioning, the nice views from the verandas ! Everything was great!"

The hosts were incredibly kind and always willing to help with anything to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The location is ideal — far enough from the city to feel disconnected, yet close enough that you can easily walk to the center when you want."

Nothing significant — everything was as expected for a nature-focused stay.

It is a shared bathroom, but Pandorka said she would update the description to mention that so I am not judging too harshly.

"Thank you Dafnee for your hospitality! It’s good house for your holidays, around in the centre of the island. There are a lot of plants like in the jungle and amazing spider. This place for whom like a different flora and fauna."

It’s not to easy to stay in this place without a car.

"Excellent location, just a short walk from Lonnoc Beach and a 15 minute walk from the famous Champagne Beach; 20 minute ride to Port Olry. There is a small village (Hog Harbour Village) nearby, about a 20 minute walk, where you can buy local bread and fruit. Accommodation is very basic but serves its purpose. Mosquito coils and nets are provided. The local who looked after us, Melody, was very welcoming and kind, and made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. There were no kayaks available but they can be rented from the neighbouring Lonnoc Beach Bungalows."

Drainage in the shower is poor and the floor quickly becomes wet and muddy. Facilities are very worn out. The room has no shelving to put your belongings; this would be a great improvement. If you are on a budget, keep in mind that pretty much the only food options in the area are the restaurants at the lodge or at neighbouring accommodations, where a meal costs 1500-2000 vatu per person. The food is delicious though and there are local dishes - the paw paw curry was phenomenal.

"This accommodation is absolutely wonderful! The house is beautiful and very clean. Even though there is no air conditioning, it stays surprisingly cool. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are also dogs, cats, and chickens on the property, which we really enjoyed. They are super sweet. The property manager, Jésus, is such a kind person. He is always available and happy to help if you need anything. I would definitely recommend this place."

The only downside is that it can get quite noisy. Every morning around six, the school bus drives through the main street honking loudly. There are also a lot of trucks passing by, which can be pretty noisy. On top of that, the rooster loves standing right next to the bedroom window to wake you up. Since there is a school next door, you will also hear music and kids early in the morning.

A nosotros nos tocaron días de lluvia y la calle para llegar se pone bastante difícil de transitar. Lo único que no funcionaba bien es la canilla de la cocina, que estaba suelta.

"What we liked especially was the ease of communication with the host, who was very nice, responsive, and easygoing! We were very comfortable and slept like babies!"

The only thing that might improve the overall experience is the potential availability of the key for each person, for us it was nevertheless very easy to navigate and the host provided us with extra keys once he learned that we are on different schedules even though we are accomodated together :)

It is not easy to communicate with the owners, English is a bit of a problem... The kitchen space is quite limitated.

"Jacqui is a great host. The location is excellent for discovering all the beaches, be it North or South. The place is quiet, and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The dogs are super cute too - especially the zfg older one :)"

Everything was fine.

"The location of this property is what makes it so special. A lovely view over the water to Tory Island (you can see the flash of the lighthouse at night), a short walk to the beautiful long sandy beach with a pub for meals a two minute walk away. We liked the space (two bedrooms) and the well stocked kitchenette. The cabin was warm and clean."
