"Oronga Beach is a spotless, beautifully maintained beach house that felt almost new. We loved the fully equipped kitchen and the spacious porch overlooking a gorgeous garden of coconut palms, leading straight to a crystal‑clear, reefy beach that was super safe for our kids to snorkel and explore the amazing sea life. Watching the sunset each evening was a real highlight, and the free kayaks were a fantastic bonus. We had an unforgettable stay here."

"Lovely property right on the beach , close to everything and great communication , easy book in ."
"Nothing not to like , except maybe a softer longer couch in lounge , but usually always on the deck anyway"
"Loved that it had everything we needed, next to the beach, very relaxing and was convenient for us, as it was close to family"
"Our only down side was the couch wasn’t comfy, it rained the first 3 days we arrived so spent some time inside and that would be our only con for the home"
"Thoughtful touches to make the stay comfortable. Even a mobile phone loaded with airtime for communication. Pristinely clean apartment."

"Close to beach and resort for happy hour, meals, cultural entertainment."
"The couch and chairs in the living room a bit uncomfy. Wifi a bit spotty"
"Location was awesome! Right on the beach. 2 min walk to a grocery shop, and Mama T’s takeaway (awesome food!). Ate on the deck whenever we got takeaway looking out to beach. Kayaks provided. Sunset every night. Loved it. Washing machine provided with detergent, clothes dried in a day. Absolute perfection."
"The back door in the bathroom was frosted glass that was right in front of the shower. You can see everything through the glass, even though it was frosted glass. Need to put up something on the door to block anyone looking into the bathroom while you’re having a shower."
"Ideal position close to at least 4 resorts for short beach walks for happy hour and dinner."

"Well appointed. Clean and comfortable. We stayed for a family wedding so it was nice to have room for the bridle party to come in the morning before and get ready, plus ideal location to get away for peace and quiet. Thank you."
"No aircon, would be nice. but not a deal breaker, the fans were great, in bedrooms and main living, and they were quiet."

"Gorgeous property. 2 bungalows side by side but with full privacy. Had everything we needed. Highlights were: - distance to the beach (right on the water) but too shallow for big swims or snorkelling when we were there. Not the end of the world though - we had a dip every day and travelled to other areas to go snorkelling - undercover front deck and back courtyard, washing machine was a huge plus, plenty of water for showers etc - the doggo - he was so adorable as are the majority of Cook Islands doggies - and this is from a non-dog person - bed was large and comfortable - fans but no aircon which was not a problem for us - comfy sun recliners - we walked to a different restaurant for 6/7 nights. We returned to the Outrigger for the last night. - we used the bus, it was handy, inexpensive and was a great way to see the island - ice cream, booze and fish is relatively inexpensive. - super quiet area, perfect for us - perfect aspect for sunset"

"Neil, our host, was fantastic. He helped with all our queries from car hire, to restaurants, to getting wonderful massages! Really went out of his way as a host. The premises were really comfortable for the 4 of us. The garden and pool really relaxing and beautifully set. The beach, and great swimming was a short stroll away. Set off the main road it was quiet re the traffic. Oh and great fish n chips close by!"

"The host was friendly and knowledgeable. The villa was clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils, etc. The air conditioning worked well. View of the lagoon and the surf breaking over the reef was spectacular. Mark, our host, lent us his car (competative price) and also took us out to One Foot Island in his skiff. A much better choice than a larger boat with many tourists. On the premises is a great little restaurant and food store. The staff were friendly and helpful. Service was excellent. The menu was versatile with vegan options. The mango smoothies were great to quench our thirst during the hot summer days on Aitutaki. Overall--a great place to stay if you like to avoid the resort crowd and actually meet the locals."

"Tony and Lhea were great, working with us for late check-in and allowing bikes to be delivered prior to our arrival. During our stay, they were available but not intrusive. I liked that Mango is a house with a fairly private yard and covered parking with a handy clothes washer and clothesline. We didn't really need the yard or parking area, but they added to our experience, feeling a bit more "authentic" than staying in the heart of Muri, where the accomodations might be more shielded from the early-rising roosters?!? Muri is only a 5 minute bike ride from Mango. Inside, Mango has an open kitchen-dining-living room, two private bedrooms with colorful/tropical bedding on queen(?) beds, and a central bathroom. There is also a plunge pool outside, but the ocean breeze kept us cool instead. The papayas Tony and Lhea brought us were wonderful treats! If you crave salty or sweet snacks, there's a small convenience-like store nearby."

"Our whole group loved our stay at Turangi Villas. It was very clean, well equipped, right down to first aid kits and brochures of local activities etc. It really had everything we needed as a family of 7. The air con was definitely needed and nice to have ceiling fans in each room. Manine was amazing, hospitable and replied fairly quickly to any messages/request. The welcome platter was also a lovely touch. We will definitely be staying again next time we come to Raro :)"
