"The cabanas are spacious and well designed, although you must be capable of climbing stairs as the cabanas are on 3 levels. The owner, his daughter and the manager, Nico, are super helpful and friendly. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have a small kitchen to make breakfast. It’s an easy 15 minute walk to restaurants and there is a produce stand and a small market 1/2 a block away."

"The neighborhood dogs bark but quiet down when it gets dark. Not uncommon when traveling."

"It was within walking distance of Puerto Varas but far enough away for quiet. The facilities were excellent. Loved the two bathrooms and the view from the upstairs bedroom! The owner was kind and welcoming. Amazing panaderia right across the street and an excellent breakfast place a few blocks away. Highly recommend!!"

"Our experience at Almabosque Cabanas was stellar from start to finish! We were 2 families with 4 adults and 5 teenagers. The Cabanas were perfect, with ample space for our crew to both gather together and get some space when needed. The location is also perfect, close to the water, to downtown, to everything, yet tucked on a quiet side road. And, most importantly, Julio (the owner and host) is simply amazing. So helpful, warm, and welcoming, it feels like home."

"Good location; easy to walk into town for shopping and restaurants. The host had good recommendations for a few restaurants very close the the apartment. The area felt very safe."

"Can't really blame the host/apartment for this but the quietness/peacefulness/tranquility of the location was broken by the constant barking of several dogs near the apartment. It was rather annoying."

"Nothing. Although summer traffic can cause delays in town. Best to park up on site and walk into town."

"The surroundings of the cabin are lovely. It feels like you are in a jungle with mature trees and ferns but in reality, you are in a secure garden just a few metres away from the main property. The cabin was tastefully furnished and we had a comfortable stay. The lake and restaurants are a few minutes away. We used the secure car park and walked to the city center which was about 15-20 minutes for us. The owner and his family are lovely people and quick to answer questions and requests."
