Hostal Solor is situates in a picturesque house 10 minutes walk from downtown and only 2 blocks from the bus terminal and the cultural center of San Pedro de Atacama. It supplys free high-speed WiFi (Starlink), daily continental buffet in the main dining room, double guestrooms (matrimonial), all with private bathroom, central heating (winter), fan (summer), electric blankets or underblankets (winter), hair dryer, towels, and toiletries. At Hostal Solor guests can relax in the courtyard and can wait quietly in the lounge while they arrive for their tour; there is always free tea and coffee. There are 3 private parking relaxation areaces available free of charge; however, a request must be made at the time of booking. There are security cameras inside and outside the hostel for added security, although it is a quiet and safe neighborhood. Hostal Solor is established 62 mi from Calama International Airport. "Great little gem very close to the center of San Pedro de Atacama Both Fernando and Alejandra were great hosts. Everything is clean and orderly by the hand of Fernando. Breakfast was exactly what we needed to kick the day off - including fruits and yogurt plus the tea/coffee. We enjoy every minute of our stay at Hostal Solor. There are quite a few grocery stores and restaurants close to the Hostal, it's just a 10 mins walk to city center."

"Our room (a Superior Double) was spacious, clean and comfortable with a large king-sized bed. A fan was provided for the heat of the days but the room was cool at night. There’s a nice courtyard that we had some meals in after using a few of the appliances in the kitchen to prep food. The included breakfast was nice, with eggs included along with yogurt, juice and a few other items. The location is good as you can get to the town center in a 10-minute walk. But the best part was the hospitality from both Fernando and Alejandra. They were very accommodating with providing a snack to go when we had an early departure, with making sure our car rental was safely parked and with storing our luggage for a few days, plus answering a ton of questions about the area."

"I had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is excellent — just a short walk from the main street, yet tucked away enough to be peaceful and quiet at night. Perfect for a good night's sleep without any disturbances. The host was incredibly warm and helpful, always willing to go the extra mile to assist us and make our stay more comfortable. We truly appreciated their hospitality. The room was cozy and nicely decorated, and the shower was great — good water pressure and temperature, which made for a pleasant experience. Breakfast was simple in terms of variety, but everything was fresh and delicious. A lovely start to the day! Highly recommended — would definitely come back!"

The location was on a quiet dead end street which was great for us parking our rental car (never had any issues finding a spot), but still easily walkable into the main part of town."
