"This place is just wonderful. Secure parking, really close to the main street to walk to the beach and restaurants. The infinity pool was fabulous and sitting on the deck and watching the sunset was lovely. The king bed was very comfortable with great linens and we were pleasantly surprised to get cleaning service after our second day. It could have been stocked a little better, there was no hairdryer, microwave, wine glasses, the toaster barely worked and it just had a tiny coffee maker that leaked. But those are minor inconveniences when everything else about the place is so perfect."

"We had a wonderful stay at Altamar! The location is perfect, clean, spacious and the pool is amazing. We took a surf lesson which we very much enjoyed! When you’re in Santa Teresa, you should book a surf lesson through Altamar apartments. Our surf instructor was professional and very friendly!"

"Absolutely loved this apartment. Very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Great sea view to watch the sunset. Close to town yet set back from the road and quiet. We saw monkeys, lizards, iguanas and lots of birds. All from our balcony. 100% recommend it."

"Lovely views, nice kitchen and modern furnishings."
"Modern, clean room with a comfortable bed and large bathroom with jacuzzi tub for two! Table for eating inside with a balcony outside to enjoy the views. Refrigerator and coffee in room. We stayed here to experience Volcan Turrialba. Our host Nathalie was very lovely and very informative. She was so helpful she even ordered food in for us after our hike."
"I stayed only one day, but everything was great. Cabana was in the middle of garden with a lot of birds in the morning. It was clean, spacious, nice, with air-con for good price. And Jorge was very friendly and helpful with everything. 100%!"

"The house was great - it was very clean, had good AC and hot water and a lovely back garden. It was situated on a quiet and peaceful street an easy walk to both the national park, supermarkets and the bus station. It was the best place we stayed at in CR. Also the host was super kind and generous. We arrived several hours before check in and he met us at the bus station, let us store our bags while house was being cleaned and drove us to the national park. We had a fantastic time."
