"We booked Casa BOHO to have a nice relaxing home away from home. It is a quiet hostel a little bit off the beaten track so away from the noise of the main drag but also close enough you can walk anywhere for anything. The property was beautiful and very well maintained. The rooms were clean and the showers were hot. It was exactly what we were looking for."

"The location was amazing. Right in town, but not directly on the main street so it’s not noisy. Very easy to locate on maps! It felt very safe and was gated and locked, and inside the gardens were beautiful! Loved the clean rooms and sustainable practices the owners facilitated. Lovely overall!"

"The hosts were amazing. They're communication was excellent and they provided helpful information. I made the mistake of forgetting a backpack at the house and the host were very responsive and helpful with having it couriered to me at the Central Valley. I couldn't be happier with their service and will definitely consider them first when visiting Puerto Viejo again."

"Absolutely loved my stay here! The property was super safe and cute: tucked into a personal street, the walk to the beach was less than five minutes away. The staff was very kind and the amenities available were beyond sufficient for my stay. They also offer complimentary coffee/ tea upon check-in and fruits that grow from the garden. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful vacation getaway."

"The cats 😁 I love cats so I was thrilled to see two cats sharing the common space. Room was very comfortable. It's a bit away from the center but that's better for quietness since you can still hear the noise from the city at night. The staff was friendly and helpful. Instructions are clear and provided in advance. Nice beaches at walking distance. Well equipped shared kitchen. Overall, it's very nice. I recommend the place. Even a toucan came to visit 😀"

"Simple accommodations (read: no A/C or in-room coffee or fridge) but very comfortable and honest advertisement for the area. We made good use of the fully stocked shared kitchen and enjoyed the patios and watching the wildlife in the gardens. The gals working there were very sweet and made us feel at home. It was fun to have a lot of natural opportunities to interact with other travelers staying there. Would definitely stay here again."

"Modern, clean room with a comfortable bed and large bathroom with jacuzzi tub for two! Table for eating inside with a balcony outside to enjoy the views. Refrigerator and coffee in room. We stayed here to experience Volcan Turrialba. Our host Nathalie was very lovely and very informative. She was so helpful she even ordered food in for us after our hike."
"The location near La Paz Waterfall Gardens and Poas Volcano was perfect. The cabin was modern with anything and everything you would want in the kitchen. The bed was super comfortable with plenty of comforters and blankets and pillows (high grade). No air conditioning is needed. It gets very cool at night you actually need to use the space heater provided. The shower has great water good water pressure and hot water. We were provided with a very delicious breakfast each morning brought to our cabin. The cabin was an excellent stay and a great value. The owner despite being out of town meeting a new grandchild communicated with us several times whenever we had questions and gave us great recommendations on places to eat that made our stay extra special."
