"The room is big and has the kitchen, staff there is very friendly and helped us with charge adaptor. Territory is green and lovely."
"Price is too high for us and when we paid via application we were extra charged with application fee. There were little ants in the kitchen which are quite annoying."

"Casa Mapache is beautifully and quietly located in a safe area. By car, it’s only a few minutes to the nearest supermarket and not far from the center of Tamarindo either. The room was very spacious and thoughtfully designed, with a mini fridge and a cooktop as well. The pool was a great refreshment, and we even spotted some monkeys in the trees above. The host, Dominique, was super friendly, we felt very well taken care of and would definitely come back!"

"The host Dominic was very warm & friendly. He went out of his way to help us. First with the late check-in and then with the additional things that we needed. The room is quite cozy and comfortable. It has everything that you would need for a comfortable stay. The location is also good if you have your own car. Away from the hustle & bustle of the town. There are 2 very cute little pups at the property."

"I had a wonderful stay at Casa Mapache. The grounds are beautiful with lots of greenery. The patio area and pool were amazing. The room was very clean and the bed and linens were amazingly comfortable. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I recommend staying here. 10/10"

I could only describe it as your very own private paradise, with a stunningly gorgeous picturesque view that can only be explained by being there!! Hands-down the most memorable and beautiful place that I have EVER stayed while on vacation!! Gorgeous floor to ceiling windows only elevated the experience!! The owners were so friendly, engaged, & supportive in helping us with booking different activities during our stay! Definitely a bucket-list dream-stay!!"

"The hotel staff is very attentive and helpful. They had people waiting for us at the parking area to help us get tickets for the boat shuttle. Once we docked their was staff to bring us to the tour area to check in for the turtle tour we had that evening and then continued to walk us to the hotel. The rooms and common area were very clean. They had some umbrella and rain poncho available if you needed. It was great to have a pool to cool off in. Breakfast was very nice. The staff even brought breakfast to my daughter in her room since she wasn't feeling well. They really take care of all the details. Bring water with you since water here you can not drink."

"Fantastic host. He could not have been more accommodating. Even came over on a rainy evening to give us an umbrella. Great value for 2 friends as there were 2 bedrooms. Market and great coffee place were steps away with a few good restaurants only steps farther. As soon as we arrived, the host had a tour guide —Brandon Experience—come over to tell us about the options. Brandon gave us two great tours (morning canoe ride followed by national park) and arranged for our transportation to Arenal."

Wonderful garden, quiet apart from the sound of wildlife. Looks even better than on the pictures! I would return anytime again and stay even longer. The beach is not walkable distance but one can easily drive there and park safely."
