"Our time in San Juanillo was good! Thank you Mauricio for this great service and recommendations; the room was super comfortable with all the facilities you might need! We were staying on the second floor; with the open kitchen and chairs if you want to have a cup of coffee in the morning 😊The beach is 5 minutes away from the property by car 🚗 the beach is empty during the week with blue water and clean sand; in the morning it might not be easy to swim because of the low tight; after 3 pm is the best time!"

"The kitchen is fully equipped with a beautiful outdoor space. The bed is the best of all our stays in CR! We arrived early and were able to use the outdoor kitchen. The hosts are exceptional. There’s a well stocked grocery near by. We enjoyed listening to the variety of birds and the howler monkeys across the road. The road was quiet at night."

"Hakuna Mata Lodge was an unexpected "luxury" appartment with the most friendly host you can imagine. Great interior, great shower, wonderful outdoor kitchen. And the superb beaches and a small supermarket are just some short walk away. And don´t be afraid of the dog, he is as gentle as he is big. If you are looking for an outstanding appartment in San Juanilo - this is a recommended choice."
