"I liked everything! My comment for others is they are located in the jungle. Which is a huge plus for seeing animals. The rooms are simple and can get warm. Roman provided an additional fan when asked. So accomodating!! My only suggestion is a rubber mat in the shower might be a good idea. The floors a lovely but can be slippery."

"The pool was a nice respite from the heat. The canopy of trees surrounding the dining area provided beauty and great sightings of birds, monkeys, agouti, butterflies and morr. The breakfast was the best of anywhere I've traveled. But the very best thing was how lovely Roman and Bettina were as people and hosts. They really care about the comfort of their guests. It will be one of our best memories of this trip."

"This place is paradise. We saw more animals here than anywhere else so far in Costa Rica. Even though it is just off the main highway, it is the jungle. The property is large, and full of trees. A troupe of monkeys comes to visit almost everyday. There are agouti, coati, iguana, toucans, hummingbirds, and at night, not far away, coyotes. There is an absolute symphony of nature sounds. The owner, Bettina, and her daughters, are lovely. The breakfast is great - fresh fruit, fresh buns, eggs, cereal, coffee. It kept us going all day. The hotel is ideally situated for visiting the Nauyaca Waterfalls, Marino Ballena National Park and the Uvita beach, Hacienda Baru nature trails, the Alturas Wildlife Sancturary, and more. There is a lovely swimming pool. We would do an excursion in the morning, and hang out by the pool in the afternoon. We were here for six nights, and had a fantastic time. Would definitely visit again."

"The hosts are warm and friendly. This was our second stay and we brought our family this time. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. The breakfast with homemade bread! was delicious and very generous. This charming, rustic hotel nestled against a forested hill is delightful. Did l mention the very reasonable prices for a place so close to several nearby beaches. And for someone who enjoys reading at bedtime the bedside lamps were most appreciated."

The facilities are stunning, the breakfast was excellent, and it is conveniently located near the beach and waterfalls. Above all, I truly appreciated the attention given to us by Bettina and her husband—they are remarkably kind, vibrant, and welcoming hosts. I recommend this stay to anyone visiting Dominical / Dominicalito, Costa Rica."
