Guest reviews for Mango Tree Villas
"Bryan and Gail were helpful with local tips, and the Casita was well equipped. They are extremely thoughtful hosts, and we wished we could have spent more time in our lovely villa. The hard work and care they have put into the place is obvious, and it shows in so many little details. We travel and lot, and we often make little suggestions in reviews to try to help the hosts. We don't need to make any here. These two are pros. Thank you for our brief but enjoyable stay."
"There's no room for improvement unless the town decides to pave the road all the way to the driveway; it's a little rugged, but nothing our compact 4x4 rental couldn't handle."
"This property is hidden gem, from the lush jungle that surrounds the property, the wildlife that can be seen, to the stunning views, and the spectacular hospitality given from all the people we came into contact with while staying at the villas. The pool & hot tub was a nice way to come back and relax from a day of sightseeing as well as sitting on the balcony in the morning while trying to spot wildlife (we saw toucans but told there are monkeys and sloths as well as lots of other birds as well). Brian & Gail welcomed us into their space and really made us feel like family. Would highly recommend and would stay here again."
"There’s nothing not to love about this property."
"Such a lovely place and amazing hosts. Thanks for making our stay so amazing, Brian and Gail."

"We liked everything at the Mango tree Villas, the Villa, the surroundings, the swimming pool and especially the contact with Brian and Gail, always available if needed. Our stay was great. We even stay an extra night as we felt so well and relaxed at the Villa. It was easy to reach the property with a Tucson."

"Serene, peaceful haven in the midst of tropical rain forest with beautiful birds, wildlife and Mountain View’s. Gail and Brian and the rest of the staff were wonderful hosts. The pool and yoga deck were glorious."
"Loved it all."
"The hosts are wonderful folks. The villa and the surroundings are exceptionally clean and well maintained. The rooms had many more amenities than we expected, all superbly clean and in a great condition if not brand new. The decor is elegant and beautiful."

"A lovely stay at Mango Tree! Brian and Gail made us feel right at home in their luxury jungle oasis! Perched at roughly 80ft above ground level, we enjoyed bird watching and the gorgeous view while sipping coffee at eye-level with the tree canopy. Very comfortable accommodations, great shower, great A/C- highly recommended!"

"Brian and Gail are just perfect, lovely place and atmosphere"

"A very interesting place in the middle of nature. You wake up and while drinking coffee in your villa, you can watch the Toucan family lead their way of life nearby. The owners of the villa are as friendly and sociable as possible, Brian is a great person. Inside the villa there is everything you need and a good kitchen. We spent two nights here and celebrated the New Year."
"The only negative is the last 100-200 meters of the gravel road up. It is very difficult to drive up in a passenger car, especially after the rain. But even here Brian will help you)"

"Lovely views, nice kitchen and modern furnishings."
"Modern, clean room with a comfortable bed and large bathroom with jacuzzi tub for two! Table for eating inside with a balcony outside to enjoy the views. Refrigerator and coffee in room. We stayed here to experience Volcan Turrialba. Our host Nathalie was very lovely and very informative. She was so helpful she even ordered food in for us after our hike."
"I stayed only one day, but everything was great. Cabana was in the middle of garden with a lot of birds in the morning. It was clean, spacious, nice, with air-con for good price. And Jorge was very friendly and helpful with everything. 100%!"
"It was perfect and had everything you need. Maybe a closer would be useful but apart from that, all great"
"The house was great - it was very clean, had good AC and hot water and a lovely back garden. It was situated on a quiet and peaceful street an easy walk to both the national park, supermarkets and the bus station. It was the best place we stayed at in CR. Also the host was super kind and generous. We arrived several hours before check in and he met us at the bus station, let us store our bags while house was being cleaned and drove us to the national park. We had a fantastic time."
"Very nice place. Hummingbirds everywhere. We spent our Christmas here and the stay was very nice. Would definitely recommend."

"New building. The rooms are clean and look fresh. The staff is very polite and takes good care of the guests. The pool is small but nice. Breakfast is standard but good quality. (The bus stop is 100 m from the hotel)."
