"It is exactly as you see in the photos… heaven on earth. Stuff is great, service is amazing, food delicious and the villas… wow. I would return anytime. Best hotel we have been in costa rica."

"Lovely place, we really enjoyed the property and its gorgeous views. The casita is very nice and comfortable, everything you need is there, with a great outdoor space where you can sit and relax, have some space to exercise if you like, or enjoy the jacuzzi. Bathroom is very big and overlooking the jungle as well. Loved that there was no TV in the room- you can really disconnect from the world! Staff is lovely as well, very welcoming and friendly, they make you feel like you are at home and are there to make your stay extra special."

"Amazing location in the rainforest and incredible view of the Whale’s Tail in the ocean. Toucans visited our tree every afternoon. Wonderful staff! Delicious food! beautifully appointed rooms. great workout to get to the restaurant and car park."

"The attention to detail, location, quality of food and staff are all of the highest quality. We stayed at 7 different hotels while in Costa Rica and this was by far and away the best. Don't hesitate to book."

"This is an exceptional boutique hotel situated high up in the jungle mountain. It has an amazing view to the ocean and jungle and the sunsets are just gorgеous . The combination of the stunning views, the sounds of the jungle, the comfort of the rooms, the wonderful stuff, exceptional kitchen its just a dream! it was an unforgettable experience and we wish to come back! Special thanks to Jennie Peterson for all the help we received for our car."

"We liked the lodge a lot, that it’s in the wilderness walking distance to Cahuita National Park, the beach, and the restaurants in Cahuita. The head of the staff was Gaia and she was very nice and efficient. We also liked the pool and the breakfast and the fact that for a nominal fee they did our wash and dried it."

"The property is family owned and operated, breakfast with fresh fruit and eggs cooked pretty much to order and good coffee. We opted to have dinner at the Guest house both nights we stayed, very satisfying meals, the location has access to a few different types of parks/activities, not too many dining options, but there are a few in the area if you'd rather eat out. Two nights was at least one night too few."

"I’d like to take a moment to talk about this place. It is truly exceptional, and we absolutely loved our stay there with our daughter. The garden is a gem, beautifully cared for, and full of wildlife, including sloths and howler monkeys. Samuel told us that he helped build a bridge to allow them to move around freely. The whole place gives a deep sense of peace, and we all slept incredibly well. Just a few minutes away, there is a beautiful, unspoiled beach. The hosts are incredibly friendly and genuinely curious people, and you can really feel how they embrace the pura vida lifestyle. We felt very welcome from the start. They shared the story behind the name and the place and gave us plenty of useful tips for getting around. We loved Cahuita, and staying at Cabina Algebra made the experience even more special for our family."
