Turquoise B&B

"A very clean, safe and well-situated property, hosted by a wonderful couple. Our host Sydney, went above and beyond, every time we saw him. He knows his community and takes a genuine interest in his guests. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The B&B was about a 15 minute walk to Otrabanda. There are minimarts and restaurants nearby. This site also offered us free parking. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you Sydney."

"The place was immaculate. The bed was comfortable. It was well supplied. The host Sydney was friendly and helpful and available to assist when needed. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would highly recommend. The location was convenient for accessing the city centre by walking, about 15 minutes and also easy to drive out to various attractions and beaches."

"The location was by a road that was quite noisy in the evenings. At night with the bedroom door closed we did not hear street sounds so did not impact sleep."

"It runs parallel to a busy road, and was noisy especially at night This was compounded by the set up for the Carnival Luckily this will not be the case in the future as they are changing the route for the carnival"

"My husband and I admired the tranquility of the B&B. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The breakfast is compact and can rarely be consumed at once. Sydney is an excellent host. From day one, he provided information about the various sites that could be visited. He maintained contact with us daily to ensure our well-being and to enquire about our plans for the day, recommending the best mode and route for transportation. On the night of our arrival, we were greeted with a bottle of wine, and then on the day of our wedding anniversary, we were presented with an assortment of cakes. Highly recommended to others who wish to spend a vacation in Curacao"

"The only drawbacks were the absence of an en suite bathroom and the sounds that emanated from upstairs due to the occupants' movements. I believe that the latter can be resolved if some sound insulation is installed. This should allow the B&B to be scored 10 out of 10."
