"Everything was super nice, the place was comfy, super clean, the owners were cool and helpful. I'm definitely turning this place into my permanent stay when going to Las Terrenas."

"The location is very good, it is close to the beach, the only thing is that it is located at the end of a residential complex, if you're walking it can be a bit uncomfortable, otherwise the stay was just perfect, I loved it."

My only suggestion would be the pillows weren’t big enough for me, but definitely probably the best place I have stayed at in my time in The DR."

"Casa Barbara quiet, clean and the host were super friendly. We loved having coffee by the pool and hanging out with her friendly sweet pups. The size of the beach cottage was perfect for the two of us. The ac worked great for sleeping at night if you like a colder temp. I was also impressed with the hand poured concrete kitchen counter top and woodwork for bed and shelves. All functionality was well thought out."

"The bed for us could have been a little better we could feel the springs in it when we laid down. There was a topper on the bed but it was not thick enough for it to make a difference. Also, the wifi in the cabin we were in was weak if you need to use it go to the pool by the main house. Other than the bed everything else is awesome."

"- Alexandrra is amazing host, helped us with a lot of local information and was always responding our questions very fast - drinkable water in the apartment - various kinds of electricity sockets, including usb to charge your devices without adapters - regular cleaning, nicely smelling towels everyday - the place was as shown on pictures"
