"The accommodations are basic, but very comfortable. I stayed warm at night with the piles of blankets provided. Dinner was simple and tasty, as was breakfast. It felt like a homestay at a homey bed and breakfast. I also really appreciated the access to purified water 24/7. Great value!"

"Good food, comfortable bed, friendly informative staff. A wonderful family runs the hostal. 3 brothers have been working hard on improvements. There is a pool/hot tub/sauna that you can enjoy ($3 fee). They have a wood burning outdoor oven and we tried some freshly made bread that was incredible. Start off your trek by enjoying this wonderful hostal"
