Mindo has been my favourite and out of 3 different places I stayed, Mindo Monasterium has been the most beautiful, accommodating, tranquil and bestest customer service for us! I can not say enough about this place. Clean and most beautiful place."

"The river, the restaurant for breakfast, the swimming pool, the jacuzzi and the room are the best part of the property. Above all, Pepe the helper there is super amazing, hardworking, so very helpful and always smiling throughout the day! The owner and his family are super kind and friendly and always ready to help. We arrived during the afternoon, and he drove us to get pizza and drinks we needed. Just amazing!"

"It’s beautiful! I loved everything about this place… The family that run it are beautiful people. The room is modern, very fresh and clean with views out into the green. You can walk around their jungle garden trails and see creatures and birds during the day and fireflies and frogs at night. And the river. Amazing. The breakfasts were fresh and local, healthy and so delicious. They will also prepare lunch or dinner upon request, for extra. Or you can walk 5-10 minutes to town for food or to shop. The location is perfect if you want to be out in nature though still close to town. I hope to return some day…I felt so refreshed when there…"

"A beautiful, serene place to relax and enjoy nature. The grounds are immaculate and rooms big and beautiful with rainforest air flowing through. I saw toucans and many other birds, fish in the pond, guatusas, beautiful flowers. There are trails, pool and nice sitting areas. Amazing peace and tranquility. The breakfasts were all different, delicious hot meals made fresh every morning. The hosts were wonderful and took care of everything needed, as well as helping with recommendations and information. I highly recommend."

"We spent five nights at this place and enjoyed every minute of it. This hotel provides modern, very clean and spacious rooms. Very nice bathroom with plenty of space and nice hot shower. Grounds are meticulously maintained and provide excellent opportunity to relax and enjoy nature. Plenty of birds, butterflies and even agouties. Amazing breakfast is served every morning (good coffee, fresh fruits, freshly squeezed juice, warm croissant with butter and homemade jam and all this on top of the main course). Main course was different every day and consisted of eggs, some Ecuadorian dish (yucca and cheese balls, some rice pancake with shrimps, beef stew and others 😍). So far our best stay in Ecuador."

"Perfect location, close to town but far enough to enjoy the nature in the property (My son loved seeing Capybaras in the wild). Very clean facilities, pool table, nice pool and hot tub. Beautiful river inside property with a section you can swim in. Amazing breakfast was included. Staff was very helpful and attentive. We loved this place and price was reasonable."
