"Excellent breakfast on an exquisite terrace overlooking the pyramids! Dr.Mohammed is a very friendly host and expert Egyptologist."
"WiFi in the room doesn’t work"
"The staff was amazing, they got my heart. They’re nit just the owner of hotel they have a story and that’s wonderful thank you for everything, I’m looking forward to seeing you again🩷"

"The hotel is in a greta location. Easily can walk across the main road and walk to the pyramids from the bank entry point. The view from the rooftop was absolutely stunning. The sunrise with the breakfast on the rooftop was perfect nothing could top it up. Great range of breakfast options. My room was upgraded and I had a perfect pyramid view from my bed as I sleep. The balcony was a bonus with the additional lounge room to get change and sit. Not having to get stuck in just the bedroom. Plenty of space. Definitely would recommend it. Nice and clean very well decorated. Nice and quiet. Not noisy or busy."
"I did not like or appreciate how the staff tried to make me feel guilty and at fault for not brining US dollar to pay the fees. First of all I had no dollor and secondly it was my first time in Egypt I had no clue that banks and exchange offices would not give other currency and that hotels prefer european currencies over their own. The way the staff tried to make me forcefully pay in US/GBP was definitely not nice. At the end I learned that they can and will take EGP. But they was just trying to make me pay with GBP to advantage themselves. Which the whole time the interaction was putting me on edge and making me feel uncomfortable. Not to mention i was extremely tired arrived after 12 hours of jet leg only to end up feeling like I will be denied entry to my booking. At one point i actually felt like they were going to refuse me. The only thing that change this whole turmoil was when my room got upgraded free of charge."
"The location worked perfectly for me. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace with the view of the Pyramids was amazing. The staff were very personable and just wanted to help you get the most out of stay."
"Everything was great, although slightly wider/darker curtains would have been good."
"It was a real home from home. The friendliness of the staff and the beautiful location all made for an amazing stay. Dr Mohammed arranged all our tours tailor made to what we wanted both in cairo and when we travelled on to luxor. His knowledge and wealth of experience was unsurpassedThe desert moon is not just a place to stay is is part of the experience of visiting Egypt. Thank you all soo much"

"Baraka Camp is a place of friendship, relaxation, and beauty. I spent a week here on my own as a solo female traveller, and had a wonderful time. I felt completely safe and met lovely other travellers both from Israel, Egypt and Jordan. The staff is most hospitable and helpful, and always come with a good attitude. The food is tasty, and better than many places around, they make the effort to even plate the dishes beautifully. The beach is sandy, but to get into the water, you have to walk on a soft flat rocky area that leads to the drop off where you can go snorkelling. Unfortunately, the reef around South Sinai seems to be suffering in recent years, but they are still fish and corals. The bungalows are new, with a new clean bathrooms, and have hammocks at the front. You get clean bedlinen, and nice blanket, and all the electricity works! I will definitely be back!"

"Amir Palace Hotel is located in a working-class neighborhood near the station. I’m the side streets there are all kind of small shops and market stalls. The staff of the hotel do not speak English very well, but they are friendly and helpful. They arranged for me to travel to Abydos by taxi and with a translator to visit the famous Temple of king Seti I and the 5,000 year old enclosure of king Khasekhemwy."
