"Best place in Elephant Island and very comfortable to stay, the host is amazingly friendly and suggestible. Besides the residents over here are neighborly, I think stay in this inland is more safe than east bank. I love this island and this homestay.😄"

"I had an amazing 2 days stay at Nuba Dool. I first wanted to stay in Elephantine Island to be far from the chaos of Aswan and Nuba Dool completely fulfilled my needs as it is quiet with friendly and very helpful people. Also the ferry to Elephantine Island is easy to get and it is just EGP15. I could relax in the mornings watching the sunset and drinking a coffee. I definitely recommend Nuba Dool."

"I loved the property’s beautiful Nile view and convenient location. It was very clean and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen that had an electric oven, gas stove, and free tea and coffee. The owners were also very helpful and respectful, which made the stay even better."

"Great if you are diving or kitesurfing. Bungalows have been refurbished and are great for the price. Food is very acceptable - plenty of variety and I really like all the salads they make. Breakfast was also great - they have an excellent omelette chef! Not much going on in the evening so you have to make your own entertainment - but if you have come for the activities, it's a solid choice."

"I had a single room with balcony and attached bathroom, and it looked just like in the pictures. It was clean and comfortable. The front desk attendant was very welcoming and kind, especially considering that I arrived after 2 am after long flight. The bathroom was very clean, and there was plenty of hot water. The view of the balcony is from the 4th floor, a good distance from the noisy traffic below. You can easily close the windows and shutters to minimize the noise, and there are good curtains to block out the light. The hotel is centrally located in downtown, easy walking distance to a couple of metro stations and not that far from Tahrir Square. Overall, it's a basic hotel, but still great value."

"I was travelling with a female friend and we were just blown away with the incredible hospitality we received from Said and his brothers, Hamed and Adel. Our stay was so relaxing and despite arriving quite late, Said was so accommodating and made us a snack after a long day of travel. Elephantine island is beautiful and quiet, and the ferry is not a problem to take back to the mainland. I honestly can't say enough good things about this family, Hamed helped us organize a tour to Abu Simbel and a Nile cruise and the price we paid was significantly less than what we were expecting. He helped us make the connection to the cruise after the tour ran a little late. They are building a new hotel next to this location and I would 100% stay with them again if I were to return to Aswan."
