"I love the safe and central location, the cleanliness, the comfort level (especially the good bed), the friendliness and wonderful customer service of the staff, the nice bathtub (instead of only a shower), the pleasant lounge where you can sit and read any one of the books on the shelves, the communal terrace with ample seating, the cute factor, the freely offered water bottles, coffee, tea, snacks, etc., and the super-convenient access to a metro station (right across the street!) and taxis galore. Plus, to top it all off, I love the truly fantastic nightly rates in the otherwise expensive city of Barcelona! I would highly recommend this hotel to others ... and, in fact, I already have!"

"Keeping in mind that this is a "cheap and basic" hotel, I wasn't in love with but could easily overlook the very occasional spots of only slightly peeling wallpaper outside the room. Taking everything else into account that I really like -- no, love -- about this hotel, that truly is trivial, and I would highly recommend that anyone else overlook this minor detail. (Remember, you're not spending hundreds of euros per night at a luxury hotel.)"

"Brilliant location, right on a metro stop, but good walking distance to everything, Good communal facilities, with tea / coffee pods etc on tap all day long. Quirky contemporary decor, felt very comfortable to spend time there, with nice outdoor space. Room size generous."

"The entrance foyer should match the rest of hotel to create the best first impression. We had a problem with the card-activated power system which wasn’t repaired. There was no response on the app or email to various queries, which is problematic with a ‘self-service ‘ hotel. For example, it was lucky we could fix the card-activated system as we got no help with this. Fridge is expected."

"Location was convenient. Communal area on first floor very pleasant with coffee/tea and cold water available 24/7. There were also dishes, a mini fridge, microwave and a dining area. No breakfast was provided but you could buy your own and eat there."

"The ground floor entrance definitely needs a makeover. Carpet looked dirty and first impression of hotel not good. Upstairs was fine, clean etc but we were concerned upon entering. Our room was quiet as requested but pretty small."

"The hotel design and decorations are very original. We found many small details with a lot of care from the owner. Although there is no breakfast, but you can have a self-service pantry where you can find coffee, tea, milk, cookies, etc. for your drink. There is also sparkling water in tap. The public areas are clean, quitet and very nice, especially the patio with green plants. We also like the small gifts like a bag, the small bottle of wine and the pack of snack, 2 candies, etc. in the room."

"The staff are not a the hotel round the clock, so you may need to call or wait for their services. We arrived at the hotel on the day of the total power cut in Iberia and we had very bad experience to reach to the hotel. Yet, we had little help from staff. We knew that everyone was panic on that day but this was exactly when we needed the most support from local people and staff of our hotel."
